Camp was ok but....
Pulling up to camp, we were surprised at the shape of the exterior and "dock". The across the street dock is not usable and dangerous. We couldn't park our boat nor use it to clean fish, as stated in the description. To get to the dock was a few planks to an old shaky platform. The bottom half of the porch was newly redone and great but the top half was shaky with nails sticking up. Be careful going up and down. The porch has holes in the screens and rusty furniture. Thankfully we brought our own chairs to enjoy the gulf breeze. Entering was easy with the lockbox. AC was awesome. Not sure if the floors, rooms, etc had been cleaned because the floors were sticky and beds were dirty. We had to redo all the sheets and wash the blankets before using. The bathrooms were updated nicely. Kitchen was good. Bunk beds were small so "sleeps 10" is true if most of the 10 are kids. Adults fit fine on the two queen beds, but again, all beds were dirty as if the sheets hadn't been changed since the last people. The ceiling fan in the bedroom wouldn't work. 2 tvs didn't work. The internet didn't work all weekend, the power went out (entergy fixed it) and the water pressure was low (leak in a pipe near house). The combination of those issues with the lack of dock and cleanliness made for an ok stay. Owners did respond in a timely manner. We tried to make the best of things. Location was great and Coco Marina is walking distance.
