Recently purchased, extremely successful, and highly reviewed townhouse. Previous owner/host had a 4.9 average and over 100 reviews. This townhouse is 3 stories, with the main living space located on the second level and bedrooms on the third level. → Walkable to shopping, restaurants, and nightlife → Both bedrooms include ensuite bathrooms → 4 cruiser bikes for your use during your stay → Bike Score 90 (flat with bike paths) → Sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress → Garage storage for your outdoor gear → 2 private balconies → Free kayak rentals from L2 Outdoors The space Arriving early and need to drop off luggage? Let us know as you can access the garage for luggage storage until the townhouse is ready for your visit. Main floor: open dining room, living room, kitchen, balcony Upper floor: 2 bedrooms, laundry, a workspace, & balcony First floor: main entrance, garage → Located in Southside Chattanooga We've partnered with L2 Outside to provide you with a free rental of 2 watercraft. They offer the use of stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, and tandem kayaks. Rentals are for 1-2 hours down the Tennessee River. Rentals are weather and water conditions permitting. Guest access The entire space is included in this rental. Please, make yourself at home. Plus, you have off-street parking for your convenience. The day before your arrival we will message you with check-in details. We are owner operated! No meeting for keys just arrive at the townhouse! Please note: All guests must be 25 or older, except those accompanied by their parents. Other things to note Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7. Some of our favorite neighborhood restaurants: Hello Monty, Hi-Fi Clyde’s, Alleia, and STIR (the list could go on and on). HOUSE RULES \-Quiet Hours 11pm-8am. If you are a night owl, this property is not for you. \-Please review all of check-in and check-out procedures. \-Maximum number of guests is 6\. Do not bring more guests than are on your reservation or you will be asked to leave. \-No smoking of any kind, illegal substance, and illegal activity of any kind are prohibited. Evidence of prohibited activities will result in fines and/or law enforcement. An $800 cleaning fine will be required for any kind of smoking in the property. \-No pets allowed. Unauthorized pets will result in cancellation of the reservation, immediate removal from the property, and additional charges for cleaning and any damage incurred. \-No parties. If you plan to use this cabin to party, it is not the cabin for you. If you host a party, you will be asked to leave and an additional cleaning fee will be required at $100 per hour to clean after your party. \-Please follow check-out instructions. As our guests, we try to keep it simple and only ask that you put away anything you use, wash any dishes you use, take out excess trash, and start the dishwasher. \-No food in bedrooms. RESERVING GUEST + REGISTERED GUESTS \-Reserving guest must be 25 years of age or older to reserve the home and must provide government issued ID. The reserving guest is responsible for communicating all rules to the registered guests. \-Do not bring more guests than reflected on your reservation. This place was an oasis for us after walking the city and exploring Lookout Mountain. It was quiet inside even though located near a busy street. It is conveniently located to Lookout Mtn (10 min) and walkable to Main St (restaurants) and walkable to the train station to catch a free shuttle for Southside locations or to North Shore. Kitchen had all we needed to cook/dine; bedrooms each had private bath (nice) with abundant towels. The view from the balconies wasn't great (city streets/parking lot) but we enjoyed them anyway and knew we could enter "the oasis" when we wanted quiet from the city streets. Overall, a nice place to stay. Owners were very helpful with info and checking that all was ok. ##### Laura S. The home is very inviting and has all the amenities I can imagine needing. When I mentioned a concern about having expensive music equipment in our car, the hosts offered parking in the garage which was a great help. Two things to keep in mind - Broad Street is very noisy at night and I needed ear plugs. Also, there is a street light directly outside the bedrooms the the current blinds and curtains cannot blackout. I mentioned this to the hosts and they are looking at addressing this issue. Like I said - the hosts are very helpful!! Very clean (minor issue that was communicated, but just an oversight), very bright and open floor plan. You are looking into a business parking lot but no big deal. Walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, and close drive to downtown. We truly loved our stay here and would not hesitate to book it again. We loved Chattanooga...even with all the rain. It was so close to downtown and had a garage for parking that we loved. It was us 3 ladies and the garage made us feel safe plus didn't have to pay for parking. I stayed here with a couple of girlfriends for a quick mom’s getaway and we will certainly come back! Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants, coffee shops, a grocery store, liquor/wine store…so convenient and the home itself was so clean and comfortable. Excellent communication. The owner/property manager was a great communicator-timely and thorough. The accommodations were up and above expected-it was super clean, incredibly inviting, easy to get to, great parking, perfect location for navigating to places we wanted to visit in Chattanooga. I went biking everyday (had my own e-bike, but 4 bikes were provided if needed). We took a riverboat ride, went to tow truck museum and played unlimited pinball. Everything just a short distance away including a fantastic coffee shop in easy walking distance. We loved it and will gladly recommend to others as well as stay ourselves should we come back. Really enjoyed our stay at Southside Story! Great communication from owners and easy check in. Convenient private off street parking. Location was perfect. Grocery, restaurants, shopping, attractions all within minutes. The home is beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything we needed. Beds were so comfortable! There was some street noise but that was to be expected being in the downtown area. The owners provided sound machines in each bedroom.
