I originally booked a non smoking room. Upon walking in, it REEKED. I thought maybe if I turned on the AC, it would dissipate, but the air the AC blew out smelled like pee. The room was also filthy, a hole punched in the wall, sticky floors and holes in the bedding. I requested a room change, down graded to 2 double beds from the king I booked and was charged MORE. Don't understand that since it's not my fault your non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. I'm severely allergic so there was no way I could stay in it ... The new room didn't smell, thankfully, but the floors were so sticky that your shoes stick and make noises as you walk around. I dropped my charger behind the beside table and that area was really nasty. Thankfully this was just a one night, mainly somewhere to sleep. But next time, I'll drive a bit further to the ones by the airport that are the same price, but rated 7 and 8 out of 10. Won't ever stay here again. Also, not like we were PLANNING on swimming, but I doubt this pool has been in service for years. I'll upload a photo of it if I'm able to.
Also, if you paid for trip protection, check your statement. I booked as a solo traveler and expedia double charged me. I talked to customer service but they didn't fix it, after saying they would.
