I will definitely keep this place in mind if that time comes. My stay, as a solo traveler with a dog\*, was excellent. It was so peaceful and quiet. The room was large with a full separate bathroom. I was impressed with the grounds as well. It’s a short walk from the room to the river. They have kept the area cleaned up for easy access. On this 150 acre property they have a few walking trails, most in shade. Chattanooga is only 20 minutes away. I was able to have food delivered by Uber Eats. I would definitely recommend this place for a quiet getaway. \*I have a large dog that is well behaved. He was rescued from bad conditions by kind people. I have experience training dogs and I have spent a lot of time working with him. If your dog is not well behaved for travel outside the home, “dog friendly” is not a term that applies to you. It was during the week, so we were the only guests.They kept the complimentary drinks iced, had dog treats for our pup. And upgraded our room. It was beautiful, scenic with the river and Smokey Mountains nearby. Easy to get into the room considering we arrived after 8pm. The manager replied and was so helpful. Even brought me a pair of rain boots because I was interested in going down by the river. There was some miscommunication about payment in the beginning, but the hosts actively worked with us to get it all sorted out. They surprised us with a room upgrade, and it was gorgeous! Very clean and well maintained. The balcony view of the river was very nice. If you’re looking for a place out of the way from the city, this one’s for you. Most restaurant options are 15-20 mins away, and you’re only about 8-10 mins away from the interstate. Perfect for a relaxing getaway! ##### Hannah H. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We were the only ones in the building yet the room they gave us was very small and was not the one depicted in the ad.
