"This BandB is a gem, perfect if you are traveling by car to Chartres. 10 minute walk to town center, restaurants and of course the beautiful Cathdral. (Parking is in courtyard and you can leave your car after checking out when visiting the Cathedral.) The hosts do not speak English but are very warm and helpful. Spacious and charming room, lots of character, generous breakfast included. We loved this place! "

"This b&b is in a good location close to Chartres, with an attractive building and garden, and plenty of secure parking. However, access to the rooms, set in an upper floor inserted into an old barn, is by steep and narrow stairs. The rooms have thin walls and the cheapest possible fittings, especially in the bathroom which did not even have a shower fitted to the wall but just an attachment to the bath taps. "Having had to pay for parking to check in at the named hotel, we then travelled to the apartment. On arrival having again paid for parking, we went into the apartment and found the bedroom with unmade dirty sheets and dirty towels in the bathroom. We phoned the hotel who said we could have an upgrade. We eventually found the apartmend due to diversions. The gentleman who met us said he had checked the apartment and it was clean.
