Sunset Vista Villa - Close to the ski slopes The short distance to the first floor entry makes it very easy to unload and get your time on the mountain going. Throughout your stay, you will find yourself drawn to the balcony more and more to enjoy the sunset views at 3800 feet of the undulating Blue Ridge mountains and rolling hills of the Shenandoah valley. Cool breezes and songbirds all day long in the summer. Fall foliage and majestic snow storms as entertainment in the winter. Inside, you’re greeted by a cracking fire to warm your bones after a day of skiing or wine tasting. Once settled, you can enjoy some quiet time or streaming services on a large screen HDTV with your favorite beverage. The living room, kitchen and dining room are perfect for entertaining or a family dinner seating six with the mountain vistas as your backdrop. Each bedroom is large (both with King beds) and has it's own bath (one even has a jacuzzi tub with jets). A rolling foldable bed with a memory foam mattress can be found in the master closet. Kitchen is well equipped and the hot water for the showers lasts forever. Parking lot is not big, but lays out well so it was easy access for our 9ft work van. Rebecca ordered in perfect weather for us. We rented this unit for the location at the top of the mountain and for the sunset-facing view, and our experience was a memorable one. We spent 4-5 hours each day on our large balcony for morning coffee, in the afternoon back from a walk and in the evening after dinner. Two minute walk from Fire and Frost for clever food and homemade pastries. The villa had everything we wanted to make our stay relaxing. Rebecca was the perfect host for our visit.
