The only downside was, the dozen or more homeless people positioned throughout the mall. There was a police presence and we did not see any disturbances. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. You will be staying on the third / top floor with a restaurant on the first floor and residences on the top two floors. Not to be confused with the Old Met rentals that sit over the Old Met event space, this unit seemed like it would be a little quieter (we did not stay on a Friday or Saturday night though). The amenities were very welcome - parking included in the outdoor lot behind the building, and access to the “Common House” social club for co-working, dinner, lounge, etc. Just know where you are staying. The location of this property is fantastic for walking around and having direct access to the coffee shops, restaurants and stores that this part of Charlottesville has to offer. At the same time, the pedestrian mall will be loud and full of “interesting characters” until late in the night some nights and you can hear all the activity quite well from living room of this unit that overlooks the area. The bedroom of this unit however, is in the back and was much quieter (at least for us). Overall, a great stay for us. We would love to stay here again. ##### Bruce C.
