Welcome to The Chalet on Lake Wylie! This stunning 5,000 sq. ft. A-Frame is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and cove, featuring 6 bedrooms—including a spacious converted walk-in closet adjacent to the master—4.5 baths, three decks, an entertainment area, a private dock, and parking for a dozen vehicles. Perfect for up to 16 guests!  
  
The kitchen has a huge, custom wood table that comfortably seats 12, good for meals, games, and corporate meetings.  
  
Our previous guests include corporate groups, friend reunions, wedding parties, and multigenerational families.  
  
Families find the house works well. Kids can play by the lake and in the sandbox, and there's a game room. Teens will probably enjoy the game room and lake activities, and there's space to hang out. Parents can relax on the deck or by the fire pit, or just enjoy the lake views. It's a place where everyone can find something to do.  
  
Some Ways to Enjoy Your Time on Lake Days:

🏖️ Young children will spend hours playing in the beach area—our large, sandy “sandbox” with sun loungers for the grown-ups.

☕ Enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the dock or any of our three decks.

👨‍👩‍👧 Guest Limit – The home accommodates up to 16 guests total, including children, unless otherwise approved by the host. Any violations may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation and removal from the property without a refund.  
🚗 Parking – The driveway can fit up to 12 cars stacked. Please do not park on the grass or block our neighbors’ driveway.  
📹 Security Cameras – For the safety of our guests and property, cameras monitor the front and back entrances.  
🚭 No Smoking – This is a smoke-free home. A $1,000 fee will be charged for any indoor smoking violations.  
🌡️ A-Frame Room Temperature Notice – The small A-frame room on the top floor may run a few degrees warmer than the rest of the house during hot summer months. We provide a portable AC unit and fans for added comfort.  
🛏️ Unique Bedroom Layout – One of the bedrooms is a spacious, converted walk-in closet located within the master bedroom. It’s fully furnished and private but best suited for guests comfortable with a shared entry point.  
📺 Streaming Access – While cable TV is not included, all TVs are smart-enabled. You’re welcome to log in to your favorite streaming platforms or connect your own device using our high-speed fiber internet.  
☕ Coffee Makers – The kitchen is equipped with both a Keurig machine and a traditional drip coffee maker to suit your brewing preference.  
🧻 Starter Supplies – We provide several rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towels to get you started. Guests may need to bring additional supplies for longer stays.

#### DON'T STAY HERE

There is water damage on every level of the home. The entertainment room was unusable during our stay due to a flood in the home on our first night at midnight. There are known plumbing issues, even as recent as two days before our arrival according to their staff. There was no remediation with dehumidifiers, no cleaning products to remove the mold and musty smells. The front hallway closet smells like mold, the furnace room, the master bedroom and bathroom, the sump pump room, and the entertainment room all smell like mold. It is dirty in all areas of the home. Ants are in the cupboards and infested our food. Items listed in property details were not available. One bedroom is unusable for sleeping. Hall bath has drainage problems. Master shower is dysfunctional, and you cannot take a shower with any water pressure. It was 85 degrees in the home when we first arrived. There was a permanent hold setting on the thermostats. While there are three separate A/C units only one was working as the others kept going back to an 80-degree setting. At 1am our first night, the owner took off the setting. Windows seals are broken in multiple areas of the house. Cobwebs, windows without screens, windows that cannot be opened or locked, broken blinds, light bulbs that don’t work, light switches that don’t work. All items used in the kitchen needed to be cleaned prior to their use. Food on utensils and pots. Drawers are disgusting with food particles and garbage in every cabinet and drawer.

Enjoyed property immensely. Lots of room for family. Good amenities to keep everyone busy. Kitchen utensils and pots needed cleaning prior to using. Otherwise everything was very nice.

#### Nice House with OK views and less than desired lake access

Great house, kitchen, beds,etc. Lake was low due to drought and had to go in and out of less than 2 feet of water to access main lake. Owner was great, helpful and even came to house to show us where to launch the boat.

We came with friends & kids & pups for a weekend at Carowinds & The Chalet was perfect for us! Very clean & spacious home for us all. The kids enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, kayaks, paddle boards & fishing. This property had everything we needed & more for a wonderful stay! We would love to stay here again this summer for our Carowinds trips!

Had a great time on the water. Fishing & water sports were very satisfying. Enough water craft for us to have a family flotilla out there. Great open kitchen & eating area for a large group. Would definitely consider using it again.

#### Fantastic excperience!

I highly recommend this property to anyone looking! Had a wonderful experience from the start - the owners were kind, friendly, and helpful when I reached out prior to the trip and the house is gorgeous! We had 15 family members come in from multiple states and everyone loved our time here. The lake was a nice treat for the kids (who loved the paddle boards and kayaks), plenty of room, and great kitchen for group gatherings! We had one small problem (that was 100% our error) and the owners replied quickly and were friendly (again - our mistake, but they were very kind when I called). I would return here any time and highly recommend this fantastic property and wonderful hosts!

#### Great Lake House Weekend!

We had 13 guys stay at the house for a 3 day weekend. The house was just as described and shown in the pictures, it comfortably slept all 13 of us. The house is very well appointed with quality furniture and finishings, and everything you need to cook/grill out for a large group. The pool table, ping pong, kayaks and paddleboards were lots of fun! Our only complaint was that the lake water is brown so that discouraged some guests from wanting to swim in it, but those of us that did had a great time! The hosts were very responsive and helpful as well.
