Any excessive pet hair, dirt, or damage found on furniture or bedding will result in additional cleaning fees. Pets must be house-trained and well-behaved. Please clean up after your pet inside and outside the property. If dog waste is found in the yard after checkout, a $50 cleanup fee will be charged. Pets should not be left unattended for long periods unless crated. Any damage caused by pets is the guest’s responsibility. Unauthorized pets will be charged at $250 plus any associated cleaning or damage fees. Guest & Visitor Policy: Maximum occupancy: 6 guests. No unregistered guests or visitors beyond those included in the booking. Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Please wash dishes and leave the home in a generally tidy condition upon checkout. Trash day is Monday. If possible, please roll the trash bin to the street on Sunday night, as pickup happens early in the morning. Trash should be disposed of in the designated bins before departure. If anything breaks or is damaged, kindly notify us immediately. Excessive cleaning: $150 per hour for additional cleaning Parking: Off-street and on-street parking are available. There is no HOA, so trailers and work trucks may be parked on the grass next to the road. Please do not park directly in the yard or on landscaped areas. Lockbox & Access: There is a lockbox on the front door and an additional lockbox on the property. If the smart lock batteries wear out or you lock yourself out, please contact the host, and we will provide you with the lockbox code. Water & Septic System: The home is on a septic system – Please only flush toilet paper. Do not flush wipes, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, or anything else, as it could cause plumbing issues. The home is also on a well water system. Water pressure may fluctuate, especially if multiple fixtures are in use at the same time. Water may have a natural mineral taste due to the well system. In freezing temperatures, please leave one faucet dripping overnight to prevent pipes from freezing. Matt was great to deal with. Beds are comfortable, house has plenty of room and is beautifully decorated. It’s dog friendly which is important to us and has a fenced in yard. My family, from East Tennessee, needed one night stay before attending the PGA Championship. Very clean and spacious! Cheaper than renting two rooms in Charlotte and we could be together and have plenty of room to relax and get ready. No issues at all. Never had to contact Matt. We had dinner on Lake Norman at Anntony's at The Landing. Our meal, the service and sitting outside by the water was awesome. This house is an easy commute to Charlotte. Centrally located to the venue and the other wedding party homes near Lake Norman. The house is perfectly sized with open spaces, clean and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Loved the huge master closet which allowed us to hang the wedding dress and bridesmaids' dresses with plenty of room to spread them out. Great communication with the host. Easy check in/out. Only issue would be that it advertises for eight people, but we only found seven places -- three beds and the sofa in the living room. We were planning for eight adults. My brothers lake house was just 10 minutes down the road so the location was perfect. My mom is very tidy and clean so when she gives a rental two thumbs up it means something. Everyone enjoyed their stay on the quiet street. The kitchen was stocked well with clean and new cookware but also had empty cabinets to unpack your belongings into. The cottage/house was very clean and provided all of the amenities needed for our stay. The master bedroom and bathroom were very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the massive shower and rainwater shower head. Closets were in each bedroom as well as TV’s and comfortable beds and bedding. The kitchen had everything you would need for your stay if you plan to eat in which we didnt. All appliances are updated and look new. You can tell the hosts put alot of thought into the layout and amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will return when we are back in the area. We needed a place to stay for a few days during a move and this was the perfect fit. If you're in town visiting family/friends and looking for a reasonably priced and convenient place to stay I would definitely recommend.
