Nestled beneath tall oak trees and facing the main channel, this spacious property offers 3,500 square feet, 2 boat slips available for guest use, and comfortable accommodations for any group seeking a stress-free getaway along the shores of Lake Norman. Located at the end of a private drive, this large, custom designed home is perfect for large families, friends, and couples traveling together. As this property sits right on the lake, the opportunities are endless for your vacation at this getaway home. Spend your days swimming, boating, kayaking and more! The outdoor area is equipped with a grill, (propane provided) private deck with lake views, lower level covered patio and a screened-in porch with seating. Although the owner does keep her pontoon at the dock, there are 2 empty slips available for guests' use. Without a boat, you'll still have a blast jumping from the dock into the water for some fun in the sun as well as using the kayak, and paddle board provided with your rental! A staircase is conveniently located at the beginning of the dock that leads to shallow waters for easy access. Right before the dock on your right side, look out for the swinging bench, yet another spot for spectacular panoramic views of the lake. Landover Lodge is filled with all of the amenities you'll need right at your fingertips, including a beautiful, fully equipped, kitchen with both Keurig and drip coffee options, granite countertops, large center island, new table and chairs. The living area is complete with a flat-screen TV, gorgeous rounded archways, tall cathedral ceilings, and a bank of windows that allow for great natural lighting. New swivel chairs in the living room allow guests to swing around to enjoy the amazing lake view for coffee in the morning, or an adult beverage in the evening at sunset. Adjacent to the living area is a gorgeous dining room with a mid-century table and large windows to enjoy the lake view while eating your favorite meal with friends and family. There are no stairs to enter which makes the house easily accessible for anyone in a wheelchair. The house boasts three master bedrooms with king-sized beds and tall windows allowing couples a luxurious space to themselves. The main level luxurious master en-suite bathroom comes with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Besides the masters, there are two additional bedrooms. One on the main level with a queen bed and the other on the upper level there's a cloud bedroom with sleeping options for six with two twin over full bunk beds. Everything others have said are definitely true. The home did not disappoint. Beautiful setting, clean, large rooms, lots of bathrooms, accessories, on the water, great dock simply amazing. We had all of our family gather from various states - 3 generations. There was room for everyone. The house exceeded our expectations in all ways. Yes, the stove is older but it works well so who cares? We enjoyed all there was to enjoy at this home and the plus was how accessible it was for our 84 year old father who recently had a stroke and is still in a wheelchair. Not only could he go all over the house, we could take him down to the dock and waterside quite easily and we were able to get him onto a boat. It was truly magnificent and we may just be back next summer to enjoy the lake and home again. Thank you for opening your home and providing all that is necessary to make it a memorable vacation. Jul 11, 2017 #### Another great trip We love visiting Teresa and Landover Lodge. Staying there during the 4th this year was amazing! As always, the house was awesome and we didn't need for anything. We took two boats again and spent all day every day enjoying the lake. Highly recommend staying here if you plan a trip to LKN. ##### Ashley W. We had a wonderful time during Christmas break. The house is top shelf on all counts. For the sake of brevity, I will just note that the owner's description in accurate on all counts and the view is even more beautiful than we expected. No one would be disappointed. We have rented up and down the coast of a Georgia, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama and North Carolina, and this is the only place we have rented two years in a row. They had everything they needed and more. The porch and grill available were a huge hit. I would definitely rent this home again if the need arises. This was our second stay at Teresa's beautiful home. The house is immaculate with everything you could need for your stay. High end appliances, granite countertops, hardwood floors just to name a few. The screened in room is fabulous as is the deck and the dock. Plenty of room so you're not tripping over each other. The house is so completely stocked with everything you may need. The space is nicely laid out with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating . The dock was fantastic with 2 vacant slips and stairs to swim. The only feedback I have is the main kitchen could use a little updating ….mostly the stove and oven. The home was super spacious, very clean, and with a beautiful view of the lake. The house had everything, from kitchen stuff, to beach towels, to games for all ages. The home also sits in a very lovely peaceful neighborhood. Our check in and check out was super easy. We also rented a boat that we had delivered to and pick up from our dock which just added to our stress free vacation. Again, I can’t rate this place high enough as it was just, simply put, amazing. Aug 12, 2016 #### Perfect for our family vacation What a beautiful, well appointed house! We had plenty of room for everyone--inside and outside. Teresa provides everything you need--linens, towels, paper products, shampoo--no need to bring these from home, or purchase them locally. Just come and enjoy. Plenty of televisions, books, cooking utinsels, etc. There are so many thoughtful "Teresa touches" in the house. Refrigerator upstairs and on the screened porch, ice maker, lots of comfy seating areas, the list goes on and on. We rented a pontoon boat, the house is well situated on the beautiful lake.
