Vintage lake charm with main channel views!

Stylish lakefront home with spectacular main channel views! And, the best sunsets on Lake Norman with plenty of outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy! The spacious covered deck is comfortably furnished with a sofa, and two large chairs which face the beautiful outdoor fireplace. There are several tables and plenty of chairs for al fresco dining and watching those amazing sunsets! Enjoy the gas grill and a cooler for your favorite chilled beverages. Lake living at its finest!

Also located outside is a large patio with a fire pit and 6 Adirondack chairs. Perfect for toasting s'mores and close-up viewing of the activity on the lake! There is an outdoor shower too, convenient for rinsing off after a fun day on the water.

Inside you'll find a tv area with comfy upscale furniture and lots of fun lake-inspired decor. The kitchen is modernized with stainless steel appliances and everything you need to cook your own gourmet meals, or kick it old school with hamburgers and hotdogs on the outdoor grill! Downstairs is another cozy sitting area with a sofa, four large chairs, a tv and gas fireplace. New this season is a sit-down PAC MAN arcade video game for one or two players! Perfect for a rainy afternoon or when you aren’t hanging out on the beautiful deck or patio! This vintage charmer boasts one king size master bed, 2 queen size beds and 2 twin beds which offers lots of sleeping options for 8. Plus, there are 3 full bathrooms. The perfect couples or family getaway!

Dock space is available on the property with plenty of watercraft rentals in the area. Two kayaks and several floats are available for guest use.

This home has many extras to make your stay as comfortable as visiting a lovely bed and breakfast with the coziness of home. Should you choose to venture out, all the conveniences of historic Mooresville are just minutes away for dining out or enjoying the many things this charming town has to offer. My husband 2 grandchildren and I stayed here for a week. The view was amazing! We rented a boat and a jet ski and had a blast! The house was very clean and very cozy and everything that we needed for our stay was there. I have never slept so good, the beds were very comfortable. there were two kayaks that I used every morning. The Bartons were very helpful and responsive during our stay. The grandkids caught several large catfish just by dropping fishing lines with hot dogs right off the dock! We will definitely be back!!

This property is wonderful. The house has so many things going for it, it’s hard to list them all. The interior has charming vintage decor and many homey touches. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities and the living areas had so much space and lots of books, games and fun conversation pieces. The outdoor area is a cut above other properties. Our party had a great time using the big outdoor covered deck. And observing sunsets while sitting on the dock was a real treat. The house is clean and well maintained. The flat parking area is also good for older adults who don’t want to climb stairs. Highly recommend this property!

Absolutely Amazing !!

If you're looking to rent a lake home - look no further - just book it! Our whole family stayed here for my son's graduation form Davidson and it was PERFECT! The home is so much more that the listing provides and the photos show. Staying here is like staying at a friend's home - it literally has everything you could need. The kitchen is stocked and ready for entertaining - more seasonings than in my own kitchen! Fun trucks & train toys for the little one, lake toys for the big ones and the most amazing outdoor living space complete with a grill, smoker, cooler, fireplace and so much comfy furniture. We cancelled our dinner reservations and grilled steaks and played on the lake for hours. Sunset paddle boarding,,,,, just amazing. The only thing we didn't like was having to go home. Wish we found this home when our son was a freshman. THANK YOU for sharing.

Excellent Choice

Big thanks to the Barton’s for opening up their lovely home to us. This home is exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious, and perfectly located. That best describes Happy Hill. The home itself feels quite secluded, located in a nice quiet neighborhood, yet, anything your heart desires can be found a short 15 minutes away. As expected, the deck and the dock were where most of our time was spent, Sunsets were great. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions or issues we may have had. Overall, a great time was had by all, we would not hesitate to return.

Lake Living!!

Location on the lake was fantastic, the house was lovely and very clean and the hosts were very communicative. The covered porch was perfect for evenings and when the occasional rain/thunderstorm came through. We had such a great time there that the only time we left was when we were out boating. Highly recommend Happy Hill!

Wonderful family memories

We enjoyed every moment of our visit to this gorgeous property. There was plenty of space inside and the outside space is amazing- the huge covered deck with very comfy furniture and a beautiful fireplace was a great spot to gather all day. There is also yard space and a sitting area with a fire pit that is beautiful. The view is amazing with boats going by, duck families swimming and deer romping nearby. The house has everything that you need to cook, relax, play, and swim. We will definitely be coming back to this lovely spot. Dealing with the hosts couldn’t have gone better. They were very easy to contact and were quickly responsive to any questions we had. You will be happy you chose this spot!

Memorial Day Weekend

Fabulous property! Very clean and well stocked with regular towels, beach towels and lots of kitchen supplies! The location is great, very convenient to grocery stores, restaurants and shopping. We loved the outdoor fire pit for smores, the kayaks, the outdoor shower and the stand up paddle board. The highlight of our stay was the huge outdoor covered patio with the stunning lake views. We spent all of our time at the house out on the patio, it was perfect! Owners are responsive and easy to work with, we hope to be visit again soon!!

This house is an absolute dream

Besides this property being totally beautiful. The owner was always in communication and ready to help in any way possible. The rooms are awesome. we never really were in the house as we spent most our time on the outside patio fireplace just soaking up the view!!! Can't wait to come back!!!

Fun family summer getaway

We were looking for a house on the lake that could dock our boat and with plenty of room for our family to stay and enjoy the lake. The house was perfect and although the dock is on the main channel, it was not too rough to keep our boat since it is tucked back in a small cove (we also visited during the week to avoid busy weekend traffic). House was fully stocked with beach towels, bath towels, lake floats, and bonus was toys for our 2 yo! Kitchen was well stocked with condiments, pots/pans, dishes. We loved hanging out on the covered porch with the fans on to keep the bugs under control. Will definitely be staying here again!
