Auberges à Charlevoix

« The room was absolutely disgusting- sheets/ bed skirts were stained and dirty. There was a hair tie still within the sheets (so guessing bedding didn’t get changed) and when we asked to switch rooms, the owner/manager asked why we were “checking the mattress”. Also they had the door to outside taped up so it wouldn’t latch, allowing anyone access to the building. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere! »

« Booked our hotel specifically for the hot tub/pool, which turns out was waiting on an inspection and was closed during our stay. Very frustrating, but out of the staff’s control. What is under their control is how they treat guests. Woke up the first morning of our stay, and was very much looking forward to a hot shower.. only to find the water didn’t get much above lukewarm. Went to the lobby to get extra towels for my partner and ask if the water was just a problem with our room, or a known...

« Room was very clean and the staff was quite responsive to our questions/needs. It's an older, nostalgic, roadside inn. The motel does show it's age but served our needs for a close room to sleep in near an event we participated in. New owners are doing some work to fix it up. »

« Great walk to the downtown. Gorgeous houses along the way. Older B ans B with a few scratches. But the lady in charge was an A+. »

« We had multiple little bees in our room. My woman was bit on the butt. »
