Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties. Welcome to Salty Shack C! This 2 BED/2 BATH upstairs apartment sleeps 6\. Wake up every day to sunrises, surfers, and the fantastic sound of crashing waves! This top floor unit is one of the three units in a triplex. It sits across the street from the beach and boasts a private entrance and deck within walking distance to the heart of Folly Beach. Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a super laid-back community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping and, of course, a gorgeous beach. The location is perfect, as it is by Center Street and across from the Beach! We are located just a short 15-minute car ride from historic downtown Charleston which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites and more. Additionally, there is a public boat ramp with parking only 0.5 miles away. The Space Bedroom 1: King, Ceiling Fan, Private Full Bath Bedroom 2: Queen, Ceiling Fan Living: Queen Sofa Bed: Flat Screen TV , Ceiling Fan Bathroom (Tub/Shower Combo) Approximate Sq. Footage: 1145 Notes You must be at least 25 Years old to rent this home. Contactless Check-In: This home offers a keyless entry system, and we will provide the code before your arrival date. You are offered spots for two standard sized vehicles in front of the unit. If you are driving an oversized vehicle you will only have room for one. We do not provide beach equipment, but anything available at the property is yours to use. Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am. The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am. Pets considered: All pets must be approved by our office before you arrive. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet nonrefundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs. each, no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival. No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. The occupancy can be at most 6 people at any time during your stay. We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. Bookings within 30 days of your arrival date require full payment at the time of booking. 12 miles to Downtown Charleston. 22 miles to Charleston Airport. This will help avoid any violations with the FB police that can result in fines and revoke the homeowner's business license. Suppose the occupancy is misrepresented or a disturbance is reported at the property. In that case, we reserve the right to terminate your rental agreement and will require that you vacate the property immediately without a refund. Plenty of room and really nicely decorated. It would be nice if the front left shrubs were trimmed back to have a better view of the beach. We noticed what looked like mold on the beam overhead near ceiling fan in living room. We stayed for a week in the Salty Shack, had a great time with our family of four. Made going to the beach as easy as possible with children. The place itself was overall very nice. Like a home away from home. It did have its flaws as being close to the beach wears everything faster, but nothing that affected our stay. Aug 31, 2023 #### Excellent Location on E Arctic This house is perfectly situated on E Arctic. It's close to all of the restaurants, but just afar enough away that you aren't bothered by noise. The beach access is right by the house as well so it's quick and easy to get to the beach! This is the top unit of the home and we never heard any noises from the surrounding tenants. I was told there was no power so decided not to drive there until third day of my stay. Was provided a link to check power but link required phone number on account which I did not have. So I asked them if it was on and did not get a response until the day I left. So missed part of my trip but understood it was a hectic time for everyone. Location is really just steps from the beach, and just a block from downtown. We parked the car in our spot on arrival and never needed it again until we left. Walked to everything. Warm water foot shower at the front of the building very handy. Everything we needed was provided. It was peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the beach, the upstairs deck and chairs for relaxing and the peace and quiet for sleeping.
