No frills - not the Quality Inn I remembered
A no-frills stay. Door is not balanced. Had difficulty opening the door. Door was stuck at top corner to frame. Was giving a smoking room even though I booked for a non-smoking. Cigarette butts on floor mean floor not swept well. Clock & phone were both unplugged. Smoke detector battery removed, Tissue plugged into another device. Pillows have no firmness, bed is lumpy. Dirty shower head. Pro: constant hot water & pressure. Good WiFi

This was the worst place I have ever stayed at in all of my travels over all of the years. This place was an absolute dump. There was mold growing on the bed box springs, bed bugs and bugs crawling on the floor. It was unsafe! We couldn't run the AC because of the 6 men that were smoking pot on the porch next to us kept blowing in the room. The second night when we arrived back at the hotel there were two prostitutes standing outside that same door next to us. There was a soda can in the freezer than had exploded and was completely full of ice. I tried to get out of the reservation with Expedia but they said it was upto the hotel to authorize the refund of which they refused. I misplaced my hotel key so I asked the very rude girl for a replacement. She never even asked me for my ID. Just asked me the room number and handed me a key.

The property is run down. The room I stayed in had dirty walls, worn out furniture, a cracked and loose toilet, and other issues. The place needs a complete renovation. It's a dump and it smells bad to boot. Low price but not worth it.

Horrible room smelled like urine roaches and spiders crawling all over, stay away also manager put deposit of entire week i stayed could not use those funds totalling over 500 dollars people check your statements he committing fraud on charging rooms better places out there for a few more bucks so STAY AWAY FROM THIS ONE SO CALLED QUALITY INN TO BAD FOR CHARLESTON MOTELS LIKE THIS GIVE CITY BAD NAME

We got to the property around 9:15pm after dealing with a lot traffic coming from Knoxville. We were tired and hungry, so we really needed something to eat. We checked in and hotel the manager seemed really nice. However, when we got to the room that’s where the problem began. It was disgusting. There was cigarette burns on the comforter and a booger smeared on the wall. The sheets had been washed, but brown stains all through them. To be fair, my wife and I didn’t immediately complain because we were hungry and wanted to get to downtown Charleston. We came back a hour and a half later and told the manager the room was not to our liking. He told us it was to late to refund us the night, but he did refund us the next two. We went down the street to Best Western and got what we needed- a nice and clean room. Overall, we just didn’t think we should have to pay for a room that was in that condition. I do understand that we waited until we had some dinner first before complaining, but the manager should never rent out a room in that condition. We’ve used Expedia a dozen times and never have we been disappointed. We complained to Expedia, but the they said it was the manager’s discretion about the first night charges. I did send them pictures of the room for their records. Why am I using Expedia for if they put motels like this on their website. I might try Hotels.com next time.

No sleep and uncomfortable.
Looks far better in the pictures. Was given a smoking room when we got there as they said I didn't select a non-smoking room which I did. Then later that night there were only two towls to take a shower, same manager told us we only specified 2 guests so I had to open up my phone and show where I did pick two adults and two children. Beds were uncomfortable which didn't really matter since we didn't get any sleep for 3 nights because of the waffle house next to it where it was super loud and people screaming all night long. There was also this crack head mentally ill lady that roams the parking lot. I turned around when coming back in from dinner and she was in the face of my 12 year old daughter screaming. I wouldn't recomment this place and will never stay here again.

Don’t let the “updated” lobby fool you. The rooms have been given somewhat of a facelift, but is still shabby. Our room’s lampshades were dented and torn, refrigerator was a little grimy, etc.

Hotel was not clean. Burn holes everywhere. Not what you would expext from an Quality Inn. All rooms were trashed person at front desk not nice and kept following people around. Asked for extra towel and gave us an attitude saying housekeeping left them. Well they didnt and when we asked again they only gave one and didnt wanna do that. Overall not a good stay.

The room was filthy. When you check in, the area is nice and the GM somewhat friendly but the rooms are disgusting. No bedbugs but we should have paid no more than $50 for this room not almost $150. Breakfast was nice.

They charge an extra 50 bucks for a non smoking room. The room was run down and had absolutely no amenities. There is Narcon on site and the front door is locked so you need to speak thru a service window. Very sketchy vibe. I could not stay there even 1 night.

Loud music in the parking area. If aur is on the curtains will open up enabling people to see inside. No iron in the room. Didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the room even after I sprayed everything with lysol so I left.

The room has some sort of dispensing fragrance that is awful. Ive killed 2 cockroaches so there's obviously no monthly service for the property. I live in NC and i protect my property from bugs but obviously they've decided not to.

The room was disgustingly dirty and the lamps were grimy and rusted, the microwave was extremly dirty. If id had a backup plan i would have checked out immediately. A non smoking room but the tub has cigarette burn on the side of the tub. Nothing was clean and im terrified that the linebs are dirty.

There is no cleaning in the rooms, very dirty showers, dirty floor, sheets with burns and terrible stains. Expedía should filter the hotels that you offer to your clients and remove these from your web page.

This was an Extended Stay Hotel
I was given a room that looked nothing like the pictures shown online. The furniture was tattered and worn. The chase chair was dirty …looked soiled and had was damaged like the other furniture. The last thing was I could see the outside from inside. The door was not secure. Huge gaps around the door frame.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. The shower was filthy, there was a massive stain on the couch, burn marks on the bed linen. I refused to stay at the hotel and Expedia is still charging me for 1 night. I will never use Expedia again after this experience.

Ok, at check-in they entered my information on the computer. THEN he pulled out a form and had to RE-Enter my information on paper which I had to sign. I asked him about it and he said he's required to do it. I told him it's 2022 ya know.... The room at first glance looked fine. But when I got in the bed, the nightstand had white "STUFF" that had ran down the side of it. Not sure what spilled, but it was nasty. The entire room also smelled like MOLD. I cold feel my chest getting tight. I almost asked for a new room, but figured they would all be the same. I was only there for a few hours, so sucked it up. Also the Sliding Lock on the door was broken. The Bath tub had Black Mold on it. This whole hotel is unsafe in my opinion and I will not be staying here again.

Truly the worst place I’ve ever stayed… bugs in the bed.., hair all over the place, ashes, burn marks on the floor and smells like a 90 year old smoker. Oh I almost forgot… you will hear a block party outside of your window.. I’m so disappointed that I purchased this room. I would’ve been much more pleased with sleeping in my car.

Very disappointed
There was a cigarette burn hole in the sheets, lots of mold on the bathroom ceiling and loud music with a heavy base seeming to coming from in the hotel from 1:00 to 3:00 a.m. The breakfast included was a banana and granola bar and a prepackaged microwaveable breakfast sandwich. Coffee was undrinkable. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed as our local Quality Inn is very nice.

Quality Inn?! Quality my ass!
This is not THE worst hotel I stayed at, but it's very close. Awful smell, furniture and appliances falling apart, mysterious stains everywhere, loose toilet, and so on, can't really enumerate everything. And the free breakfast? Don't get your hopes up: it's a box with a muffin and a banana. Just awful. Awful.

For the money, this wasvthe best deal in town. The accommodation was satisfactory and the locations was great. I will use this hotel for future travels to the area.
