The place is clean, bright and pleasing to the eyes. We had a good stay. When we arrived, there was an "Out of order" sign on the dishwasher. It was a bit inconvenient to have to wash cups and glasses by hands. There was no dish detergent but the response was prompt. Dish detergent for hand washing dishes showed up literally minutes after our request. Just a couple of suggestions: it would be nice to have a box of Kleenex. The master bedroom can have smaller night stands so it would be easier to close the bedroom door. I know we didn't come to watch TV in Charleston, but it's really difficult to watch TV in the bedroom with the TV mounted on the side wall instead of facing the bed. It's just odd. ##### Doug d. We walked everywhere and it was only a short uber to downtown. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms updated. Only downfall was the water pressure but we knew that going into it. Should mention pharmacy below unit security alarm system started three times on our last night, police came and checked the area. Plenty of space, loved having designated parking in the parking lot, quiet, and easy access (both walking and a short drive) to everything you want to see downtown. Beautiful interior with a very easy check in and check out process. It’s in a small business type building and parking lot, above one of the businesses. There were 4 of us (2 couples) and we had plenty of room and it was very comfortable. There’s a parking space included which is great. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast In the morning and the host even left us some wonderful local ground coffee. We had a great time and it met all our needs. The only complaint was the smell… it was an overpowering scent of industrial strength cleaners from the moment you walk in. I tried to open windows to air it out but all the windows were painted/sealed shut except for the main bedroom. We stayed for four days and the smell never dissipated. I guess the only upside of the smell was you knew the place was clean, and it was very clean which I very much appreciated. ##### Brigid W.
