Oceanfront with Large Screen Porch!  
  
Beach House featuring 7 bedrooms with additional game room and sleeping den is oceanfront on the Isle of Palms perfect to gather your family and friends together for a relaxing and affordable beach vacation! With beautiful Ocean and beach views, a large furnished screened porch, and 2 levels of open sundecks, this 4,022 sq ft home offers the space and convenience for up to 16 guests.  
  
The main living area is on the first floor and consists of the kitchen, living room, dining room, and four guest bedrooms. The large, open kitchen features a built-in wall oven and microwave, side-by-side fridge, smooth 5 burner electric cooktop, 2 dishwashers, and granite counters. The huge center island offers plenty of meal preparation areas and accommodates 7 stools. It’s perfect to serve the kids snacks or meals. The dining room area, with its marvelous ocean view, has a table that seats 11. The living room is comfortable and airy and the wall-to-wall sliding glass doors offer views of the beach and ocean along with access to the screened porch. A TV/DVD will keep young and old entertained with their favorite programs. For entertaining, there is a full wet bar, with a granite counter, sink, full-size fridge, TV, and 3 bar stools.  
  
The 1st bedroom located on the first floor is a sleeping den with 2 Twin beds and a full hall bath with a shower. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, is oceanfront, and features a TV/VCR/DVD. It offers handicapped accessibility to the screened porch and hallway handicapped bath which is equipped with a granite top, roll-under sink, and tiled shower stall with a grab bar, bench seat, and handheld shower. Bedroom 3 with a Queen bed, TV/DVD, and a shared Jack n Jill bath with tub/shower. The game room is also bedroom #4 and includes a Queen Murphy bed with TV/DVD, and a card table with 4 chairs. It shares the Jack n Jill bath. The laundry is conveniently located in the hallway.  
  
The second floor consists of the Primary Bedroom and bathroom, 2 of the remaining guest bedrooms, and a full guest bath. The large Primary bedroom features a King bed, TV/DVD/VCR, private sundeck with lounge chairs, and spectacular, panoramic ocean views! The primary bath is complete with a tiled, walk-in shower, double sink vanity, and Jacuzzi tub with an ocean view. Bedroom 5 includes 2 Twin beds, and a TV and shares a full hall bath with a tub/shower. Bedroom 6 has an ocean view and has a Queen bed, a Twin Daybed with trundle, TV/DVD, and shares a full hall bath.

When making an online reservation on VRBO,  you will receive a confirmation and a contract from East Islands Rentals once you book this home.  The contract must be returned within 24 hours to keep your reservation!  Payments are not collected until the contract has been returned and reviewed by  East Islands Rentals.  
Damage Protection:  
In lieu of a security deposit, a Damage Protection Policy is added to protect you up to $3,000.00 of damages during your stay.    
Travel Insurance:  
East Islands Rentals offers travel insurance to all of its guests through Rental Guardian. Rental Guardian's specialty is the Vacation Rental Industry.  Travel Insurance covers you in the occurrence of a possible natural disaster threat to our area, medical emergencies, loss of a family member, loss of a job, etc. The cost is about 7% of your rental cost plus taxes and fees. Please email for the exact cost. It is highly recommended to purchase travel insurance through the Management Company.   Once a reservation is made the Management Company can add the Rental Guardian policy to your reservation.  
If Travel Insurance is purchased through VRBO/Homeaway (CSA-Homeaway policy) their policy does not cover any delays or interruption of a stay, especially if a natural disaster occurs, such as Hurricane.  Management Company will not be able to refund any monies or move your reservation.

We love the Isle of Palms, but this property needs basic maintenance. Two of the kitchen cabinet doors came off when we opened them. The decks require repair, creating a trip hazard for any senior guests, and the overall property hasn't received basic maintenance. For the cost, I would recommend choosing another home.

#### House in disrepair

Beautiful view and location but the house needs a complete overhaul. From mold to. Using pickets on the deck, the wood on and around the house needs replacing. Was clean and management company good to work with but we won’t rent her again. Rusty fixtures, lack of general maintenance left us disappointed in the stay.

Great location —oceanfront home w million dollar views. Lots of bedrooms and plenty of seating for large family gatherings. Although this property is not completely updated, it had all the conveniences we needed! We felt comfortable having all the grandchildren playing either inside or outside on the screened in porch!

We stayed in this rental for a mini-family reunion. We chose it because we needed an elevator for grandma and it was right on the water. The house was in a beautiful location and was large enough for everyone to spread out. We did not use the Murphy bed so I can not comment on its comfort but the bedrooms were all satisfactory (nothing too impressive to comment on). The outside deck is lovely for eating meals while enjoying the breeze and ocean. We cooked many meals and the house had the typical rental kitchen supplies. The cooktop vent is not operational. The outside grill worked well and had plenty of propane. Parking is plentiful. The house was clean. However, this house is clearly a rental and needs repairs and updates. The ceiling has many water-damaged areas, there is lots of wood rot and peeling paint, the carpet upstairs has seen better days, and much of the outdoor lighting doesn't work. The primary bedroom shower is in need of repair. The door doesn't close (someone added velcro to the shower door in an attempt to "fix" this but it doesn't hold the door close) and the tile floor seems to have been repaired by coating the tile with some type of plaster but it is all peeling up. The wood walkway to the ocean is sketchy; if you don't want splinters, wear shoes. Overall, we enjoyed the house but wish it was better maintained.

#### Family reunion.

Great location. Right on beach. Wonderful sitting on deck in evening watching waves. The house was right next to public access but beach never was too crowded. The kitchen was stocked with everything. There was plenty of room for our group of 15. Only minor annoyances were many burned out ceiling bulbs and the trash cans were overfilled upon our arrival and swarming with flies.

We stayed in this home for a girl's weekend with 13 girls and there was plenty of room to spread out and relax! The view from the home can't be beat. While it's a bit outdated, it's perfect for some necessary time away. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice house but in need of repair and updates. The ceiling in the main living space had water marks from prior leaking. We had a tropical storm while we were there and had to put pots and pans under several places while the water came in. I called to report this and someone came to look at this and took pictures but nothing was done. The railing on the back steps and one of the slats on the back porch was loose. The entire railing across the back deck to the left was loose and could have been a problem if someone leaned too hard on it. I had to call to have them repaired as I had young children and my 91 year old Dad with me and these were a safety issue. I feel for the price of the rental these types of issues should be addresses prior to arrival. The main air conditioning unit was not working properly and I had to call to have it repaired it. It was a minor repair but again another call for a repair.

#### Rental agency was fine except they need to clean better.

Owners of property need to stop whoring the property. Charge a lot of money & they do not reinvest ANY of it. First bad sign NO smoke detectors, not even in kitchen, just wires where they’re suppose to be. Two of three air conditioners went out. None of the doors locked. No lights work in upstair hallway - over stairs so could be dangerous. Dishwasher not bolted in. Holes in screens on screened porch. Railing gives. I could go on and on. So word of advice - don’t rent property until major work has been completed. A definite safety hazard.

Clean, spacious, fabulous location. We had 15 family members and everyone had plenty of room. The kitchen had plenty of room for everyone and the huge windows on the back of the house gave us the most spectacular view of the ocean. It was nice walking straight out to the beach and we had great access to fabulous seafood just a mile down the road from us.

Amazing to wake up to the sound of the ocean outside your bedroom door. Wonderful location with easy access to good restaurants. One reason I gave it a 4 star is because the house is very worn down. Towels and linens were all clean though! We love Charleston!

#### Wonderful functional beach front home

The home is wonderfully situated on the beach - quiet street. The layout is big without being overwhelming - plenty of room to sleep and feel comfortable. The kitchen is built for crowds! Lots of space to prepare and (key) two full dishwashers and a second full fridge around the corner at the bar. Big windows and views throughout. Definitely recommend.

#### The most money we’ve paid to stay oceanfront in Charleston and the worst house

This house used to be awesome. Now I think the owners are just waiting on the right hurricane to come blow it down! We are a group of 3 families that come to Charleston for our family beach vacay for the past 3 years. We always stay oceanfront since we have young children. Right from the moment we arrived things were bad. No need for a key, the doors were left unlocked. The property was very dated and dingy. Couch pillows need to go in the trash can. We were greeted with a large broken window overlooking the beach from the kitchen. We were also nervous about that bc a hurricane was scheduled to hit the following day and with 4 young boys we were afraid they may bump into it and the whole thing would just shatter. We went to sit in the screened porch since that is the best feature about the actual house. There was an old discarded hot dog wrapper rolling around from the previous guests. Old and dried food left by the grill and even better blond hairs stuck to something spilled on the coffee table. We also quickly discovered that the air conditioning down stairs wasn’t working. We called to let the management company know. The following morning I woke up and walked out into the living room to discover a strange man standing in the den talking to our young kids watching the only working tv in the house. I asked who he was and how he got in. He said that he was friends with the owner and here to fix the air. I asked who let you in? He said he let himself in. He then asked to use the bathroom and clogged the toilet up. He did get the air running. The next day the upstairs unit went out and he had to return. He must have gotten the hint and this time let himself in again but was wearing a mask now. The hurricane hit and was challenging bc the WiFi is terrible and with one working tv we were all stuck in the den. We also had pots scattered about for all of the leaks coming through the ceilings in the rain. During the storm the HVAC guy showed back up and again walked right in. There was a lot more that happened but you get the point. We did reach out to the rental company before writing a review to let them know. Two weeks ago they said they would let us know what they could do after they talked to the owners. Crickets. Keep looking! We had a fun time as always with our group but it was only because of location and the company we were with.

This house is in an ideal location at the end of IOP, far enough away from the main pier to have plenty of beach room. The beds are comfortable as well. The rest of the furnishings are very tired though. The living room furniture is stained & greasy, the carpet is also way past being able to clean. Some Windows are cracked and the kitchen cabinets are failing. These are all superficial things that the owners could easily fix and if they did we would happily return! The rental agency is lovely and very responsive.

#### Once upon a time

Once upon a time this was a lovely home. It has been neglected. The home has a fine layout but needs refurbishing. There are poorly patched holes on walls, kitchen cabinets with broken hinges, a prominent broken window and the living room and screened porch furnishing need to be replaced. With some TLC this home could be lovely again.

This house was perfectly suited for our family's girls trip. It was spacious and comfortable enough, and we made good use of the elevator. The location on the beach was perfect. We were able to walk down to the inlet and watch the dolphins feeding. We were all so sad when the trip was over.

#### Wonderful house for a family reunion

This house was clean, a bit aged and dated but when you include the beach view with the screened in front porch and all the bedrooms... Definitely worth it! East island rentals was friendly and accommodating as well as informative about the island & area. Would book again!
