Pefectly located 3 miles from Folly Beach, a short mile to grocery store or Bowens Island & 8 miles from Historic Charleston. Each evening you can take time to relax on the decks as you watch the fiery sunset over the marsh. Full of comfortable furnishings, countless windows in every room for magnificent views and bird watching. Gorgeous new kitchen with new appliances and two huge Decks with comfortable furnishings. Come stay for a secluded, quiet experience. Multiple boat landings all within 2 miles of property. Two+ mile Scenic walking & biking trail parallel to the marsh. The fantastic home has 3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, (plus outdoor shower) and has ample sleeping options with a King, queen, full and 2 twin loft beds 6 adults ideal plus kids. Comfortable well air-conditioned rooms with fans in every space that make for the perfect resting experience on your much-deserved vacation. The fully furnished kitchen with new quartz countertops, 5 burner glass top stove, an exceptional Italian oven, air fryer, and microwave make for the best cooking experience whether a quick meal or a more relaxing sit-down dinner. If you prefer outside cooking, that works too, with our large gas grill conveniently located outside but out of the weather. Plenty of choices to sit down and enjoy your meal, with a 9 ft island (comfy bar stools) and high-top dining room table located in the middle of connected living space with comfy couches, TV & chairs surrounding an incredible sunset view. Or from there, step out to our huge deck with an outside dining table and seating options that allow you to experience a beautiful & tranquil marsh view or sunset. Spending time together will be easy, along with plenty of space to curl up with a book, take a tree frog/cricket serenaded walk with a dark sky for stars and yes, in the right season, lighting bugs. You will absolutely LOVE this space!! To give you the full experience, we provide a JBL Bluetooth speaker to set the mood during your stay, as well as Bluetooth in your master bathroom for a relaxing bath or shower. Free WIFI and a Smart TV in almost every space in the home with Guest mode connections for your own safe, personal viewing selection. We have a few paddle boards and kayaks available on site. Bring your bikes or rent from a local bike rental company who will deliver the bikes right to you so you can enjoy an easy scenic bike ride to the beach (with bike lanes on Folly Road), or over to the infamous Bowen’s Island Restaurant that can be seen across the water from the Summers Haven driveway. Grocery store, beach supplies, convenience fuel all within a mile. There is plenty of parking on sites as well as an outdoor shower so you can rinse off from a long day at the beach or cool off from your bike ride. Karen’s communication was excellent, and she has thought of everything to have the house fully stocked and comfortable. She answered questions before I knew to ask. This home might be the cleanest I have ever stayed in. There is room to spread out, and the living room on the second level has plenty of room to all be together. This woderful home is set in a perfect location, allowing short trips to Charleston and Folly Beach. We were a group of 6 adults and had plenty of room to spread out and excellent areas to hang together as well. The marsh views were very cool and we caught a beautiful sunset followed by a morning rainbow! Check in and check out were very easy. All was as described and fhe owner was very accessible as needed. The location is isolated, but felt perfectly safe for a group of girls. We loved the marshy area. The house was fully equipped with anything we would need. There was plenty of room for all of us. The property is on a beautiful piece of land with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets! The house was clean and well-stocked. Plenty of room for everyone. Karen was super helpful and we really enjoyed talking with her. It was also in a great location. It was about 15 - 20 minutes from downtown Charleston, 10 minutes from Folly beach and easy to access. The location was great. The only two concerns for our group was the gravel road and the circular rug on the staircase landing that was slippery. Thanks for being the host for our amazing trip. The bedrooms were all on different levels, which gave everyone privacy. The living areas on the main and second level were both bright and large, and opened out onto decks. The kitchen was large and well stocked with plenty of seating. Overall, the home was new , fresh, clean, and cheerful. There is plenty of space (and multiple levels) to stretch out and relax after a day of adventuring in Charleston or hanging on Folly Beach. We loved that it was just outside of Folly and not on the island proper. The marsh views at sunrise and sunset were beautiful. The kitchen is equipped with anything you would need and there are plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, fans etc. The owner is on top of sending you any info for check in and responds quickly to any questions. The house was super clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed. Thoughtful interior and updated, modern design. The first floor bedroom and bath was a wonderful haven for us. The space upstairs and on the huge deck off the open kitchen/living room was great for family and friends who stopped by between wedding events. We love both Folly Beach and Johns Island so this location was perfect. Communication with the host could not have been better. Made a point of having it well lit at night when we arrived - so welcoming after a long day of travel and flight delays. Karen and Kent were awesome—and went above and beyond to make our 4th of July week exceptional! We had stayed on Folly in the past—but being on the marsh provided a tranquil, relaxing and sunsets that were UNFORGETTABLE! We loved having all the space, the oversized decks and the 3 floors worked out great for our group! Everything in the house was well stocked, the walking paths were awesome and the kids loved the kayaks! A perfect way to ring in July 2024 with some of our closest friends! ##### rothensburger f. Came for a girls weekend and wanted something cute and close to the beach—this house was perfect! Spacious, clean & comfy. We loved loved loved the porches and bathrooms. The shower made you feel like you were at a spa! The hosts were so pleasant and accommodating. Everything we needed from towels, toilet paper, soap, kitchen utensils, even extra toothbrushes in case we forgot ours—you could tell they really cared about their guests and wanted them to relax and feel at home.
