Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and no parties. Welcome to the Wavehouse! This wonderfully unique 5 Bedroom/4 Bathroom home sleeps 10 features an in-ground pool. It is filled with custom-built touches throughout, including an inlaid surfboard in the living room floor, custom-made rock countertops, the famous "wave stairwell”, and the impressive master suite and bath on the top level. The Wave House is pet-friendly, offers a fully fenced yard, and is only 2 blocks from the beach and 5 blocks from Center Street. Conveniently located by the Pirate's Cove Playground & Skate Park, you will enjoy the tennis and basketball court and a dog park. The house has 3 levels with a first-floor suite attached to the main house with a private entrance. This suite features two additional bedrooms, a full bathroom, a cozy living room area, and a fully equipped kitchen. The large front porch off the living room provides plenty of room for outdoor dining and entertainment. There are 2 queen bedrooms and 2 full baths on the main level. The top floor is dedicated to the main suite that offers a "reading nook" divided by 200-year-old doors from India and a large private open-air porch. The attached bathroom features all tile and custom stonework. Step outside to enjoy a beautiful new in-ground Salt Water pool measuring 16' x 30' with a 9-foot deep end. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower with hot/cold water, a gas grill, and a firepit to sit around while enjoying the beautiful Folly Beach sky. Folly Beach, or as locals refer to it, The Edge of America, is a laid-back, golf-cart-friendly community with many great restaurants, a booming nightlife, plenty of shopping, water activities, and water tours. For more historical exploring, the famous Downtown Charleston is only a 25-minute car ride, which offers endless fine dining, shopping, historical sites, and more. There is something for everyone here. We promise you will Folly in love with this beautiful island! Check-in time: 4 pm. Check-out time: 10 am. The Folly Beach noise ordinance is from 10 pm to 8 am. Pets are considered at this house: All pets must be approved at the time of the booking. Upon approval there is a $150 (plus tax) per pet non refundable pet fee that is due before you arrive. If not already on your reservation, it will be added. Once this is done and the fee paid, you will be all set to bring your pet with you (2 pet max, no more than 60 lbs., no puppies under 1 year old, no cats). Emotional support animals, comfort animals, and therapy dogs are not service animals under Title II and Title III of the ADA and are subject to approval and fees prior to arrival. No smoking is allowed in or outside of the house. House parties, weddings, functions, events, bands, DJs, etc., are prohibited. The occupancy can be at most 10 people at any time during your stay. We require 50% payment at the time of booking. The remaining 50% of your balance will be due 30 days before the check-in date, and we will run the card on file. The Wave House is so friendly, funky and colorful. Although it wasn't pool weather, we enjoyed a dunk in the beautiful, in-ground pool, and all of the custom-built showers were very charming. The grill needs a good clean, there was quite a bit of flare up when we used it, but it didn't deter us from a good time. There is a slight odor that accompanies the basement... and only one cockroach, but we realize these are all hand in hand with beachy, dog-friendly, island dwelling homes. Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay and want to thank the Wave House for a very memorable weekend celebrating our bride. ##### Sara B. The pool was a big hit with our teenagers and it was so lovely sitting out in the backyard during the day. In the evening we liked sitting out in the front porch having dinner and playing games. The house slept everyone comfortably and there were plenty of bathrooms. The beach is a short walk away and the sand is beautiful and the kids enjoyed the waves for boogie boarding. Center Street is a 15 minute walk although we rented a golf cart which was lots of fun so we often used that. The kitchen met our needs and the couch was comfortable. We could have used a larger sitting area in the tv room but we made it work. A few members of our group love tennis and pickleball andd it was so convenient have courts close to the house. There were pick up pickleball games a few times a week in the morning. We enjoyed the beauty of the area and would definitely come back in the future. We had a fabulous stay. ##### Jennifer S. The house is as pictured in photos. The outdoor space was great and grandchildren loved the pool...probably more than beach!! The location is fantastic as it is walkable to all the restaurants even with babies...using a stroller of course. We stayed on downstairs level and children/grandchildren stayed upstairs. Beds were comfortable and the downstairs was quite soundproof other than the running of little feet. The kitchen upstairs was well stocked for cooking. The downstairs kitchen is not as user friendly or well stocked but does have a coffee pot which is all we really needed. The house is in a great location- 2 short blocks from the beach and only 15 mins walk to coffee shop, restaurants and shops. Quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is well stocked. Large bedrooms, 3 of them with en suite bathroom. Lots of great hang out space inside and out. Plenty of room for the kids to spread out and have their own space. We try to make the trip to Folly every year and this was our best stay yet. The house was perfect- just a short walk over to the beach. One of the highlights was spending the evenings in the backyard pool. We had frequent communication from property management and no issues whatsoever.
