Enjoy the porch over-looking the walk/bike trail, listening to the sounds of the ocean. Twisted Oaks is less than 100 yards from the beach. This is the closest 2 bed/2 bath villa that you can find for the value. This villa, Twisted Oaks, is a short walk to the Cougar Point Golf Club and restaurant. Kiawah Island offers 10 miles of wide, immaculate beach to walk or cycle for hours and hours without interruption. The beach is complemented by the island’s river, meandering lagoons, and pristine marshlands, and is a beautiful place to visit all year round. The location of the property and ease of access of the beach was amazing! Our trip was impacted by a hurricane and on the good days of the trip we were back and forth to the beach during the clearer periods. Making that trip back and forth to the beach with two young boys was easy. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We had an extremely difficult year so we wanted peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. Would highly recommend staying here if you need to relax and decompress. The ocean was too cold for swimming. It would have been over the top with access to a heated pool but still a wonderful place to stay. ##### John K. The beach is a safe 2 min walk along one of the trails. You cannot ask for closer. Apartment was well stocked with all you need, including beach chairs etc. Owner readily followed up on any queries.
