It was a great location very close to the start/finish line at the West Beach conference center. Easy beach access. Location was clean and accommodating. The only points of feedback would be that the guest bath sink was slow to drain, and the tv was not super easy to operate, but overall we had a terrific stay. The hotel we booked ended up being filthy and we found this rental a bit further from the hospital but with a great set-up for our stay. Susie did a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed for a fast check-in. The house was super peaceful and a short walk to the beach. The beach was gorgeous and allowed for everyone to decompress and my wife to recover. We weren’t here for vacation, but it sure felt like one. This Sparrow Pond cottage was our introduction to Kiawah Island and we weren't disappointed. The cottage was roomy, clean, well lit, had comfortable beds, and a well equipped kitchen. The furniture style was dated, but very comfortable. Cycling on the beach was exhilarating! (my husband is 80 and I'm 78) Susie, the property manager, was terrific! Her quick responses to our questions and the clear paperwork that was emailed to us helped to create a very relaxing vacation.. We would love to return to the area. JR ##### Joan R.
