It's a little slanty and definitely not soundproof (from the outside nor other adjoining apartments) but it is a cozy respite from the busy King street traffic a couple blocks away. You are very close to King Street and there was designated off street parking which was very important to us. There is a phenomenal bagel place less than a half a block away and a well stocked bodega nearby so it is a great place to stay for anyone who is hoping to be out and about on foot in Charleston. It was not an issue for us, but I do want to honest about the floors being very sloped and uneven in the property (not uncommon for historical properties) because I do feel this would be a problem for those with balance issues or anyone with even a slight mobility challenge. ##### Angela H.
