This first-floor apartment provides 2 bedrooms and 2 baths (one with a luxurious, jetted tub) with hardwood floors, and an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. You will be surprised and delighted with the special touches and updates within. From "better than hotel" bedding to a fully equipped kitchen, you will find all of the comforts of home. You will also love being South of Broad on the "carriage tour circuit", with the Battery, Colonial Lake, and the Horse Lot about three blocks away, but far enough from the throngs of tourists to feel like a local. Plus, you will have restaurants, shopping, and everything else Downtown living has to offer nearby. Every day is an adventure! From outdoors enthusiasts to foodies, there is something for everyone! Enjoy a day of tennis, golfing, boating, beaching, touring historic homes, or just cycling around. After enjoying the day, head home and change for dinner (Charlestonians love to dress up!). From here you can walk over to Costa, one of Charleston's hottest new restaurants for coastal Italian fare. Or make a right on Broad Street to find local favorites Sorrelle, Circa 1886, and Fast and French nearby. Bonus: you have off-street parking for your car and street parking for guests. The City of Charleston has a draconian ordinance that only allows properties on the National Register of Historic Places to have nightly rental permits in our neighborhood.
