Please Note: This property is located in a quiet residential community and Folly Beach has a strict noise ordinance violation rule of 1 strike. Simply respect your neighbors, keep the noise down and NO parties. :) Welcome to Namastay! This divine beachfront home has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps up to 10 people. There are two luxurious outdoor areas. You can sunbathe and enjoy beautiful sunsets on the front deck, which has large comfortable lounge chairs and an umbrella. The back porch is screened-in with an amazing ocean view and a private walkway to the beach. There is plenty of furniture for lounging and dining, as well as a natural gas grill. Two hammocks, a picnic table, and a corn hole set under the house provide a place for shaded dining and relaxation, along with a private, fully enclosed outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. During turtle season, there are no outdoor lights permitted on the beachside of the property after dark. The interior of Namastay is just as comfortable and well-furnished as the al fresco areas. The bedrooms and the common areas all have ceiling fans and central air conditioning. Two bedrooms are oceanfront, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed. They both have sliding doors that lead directly to the beachside screened in porch. The two Jack and Jill bathrooms connect to the third and fourth bedrooms. The third bedroom has a set of bunk beds and a full-sized bed and the fourth bedroom has a queen bed. Each bedroom includes cabinets with plenty of space for storing clothing and personal items, as well as hooks, hangers and full-length mirrors on the backs of most of the bedroom doors. This cottage style home does not have traditional closets for storage. All bedrooms have smart televisions for watching your favorite movies and TV shows using your personal accounts (Hulu, Netflix, etc.). The bathrooms include hair dryers, large walk-in showers with seats, and they are fully tiled. There is a large living room with a comfortable couch that seats 10 people! Additionally, it houses a 75-inch smart television with cable. The rest of the home boasts an open floor plan including a second living room that is oceanfront and leads out to the screened-in porch, a dining room with plenty of seating, and a small fully equipped kitchen. This is the perfect arrangement for relaxing and entertaining. There are two outdoor showers, a private one under the house with both hot and cold water, as well as one on the boardwalk leading to the beach. Namastay has modern conveniences and luxurious touches to ensure you have a great vacation. These include free high-speed internet, a washer/dryer (hidden behind a sliding door in the fourth bedroom), microwave, dishwasher, smart TVs, cable, hairdryers, a shower and seating on the boardwalk walkway to the beach, and unique furnishings and artwork that are both comfortable and stylish. There are beach towels for 10 people, mini bottles of shampoos and conditioners, and basic pantry staples such as ground coffee and filters, sugar, flour, oil, vinegar, and spices. Namastay has a Nespresso Vertuo machine with coffee pods, an Instant Pot, a toaster oven/air fryer, plush towel sets and robes, comfortable bed linens, and plenty of throws and blankets that are freshly washed/sanitized between guests. The home's double driveways can hold up to 6 vehicles. You can charge your electric vehicle with a 240v electrical outlet located underneath the house. Please bring your own charging cable/ adapter. Namastay is nestled in a very peaceful area between the washout (surfing spot) and the Folly Beach lighthouse, three miles from the busy, unique downtown area that has plenty of local restaurants and entertainment. You can also conveniently rent golf carts, jet skis, bicycles, surfboards, paddleboards, and additional beach equipment. It is only a 25-minute drive to world-class dining, boutiques, museums, history tours, and an aquarium in Downtown Charleston. The owners of this lovely beachfront home use it frequently, and the furniture and decorative items are personal and designed to be pleasing and comfortable. From the moment I stepped into this beach house, my worries and stress just melted away. The house is filled with natural sunlight and the the home exudes warmth. The best part for me are the views of the beach. The location right on the beach with its own private walkway is just amazing. I walked up and down the beach for both sunrise and sunset. I fell asleep and awoke to the sound of the ocean waves. The location alone is amazing, but Namastay goes above and beyond with the amenities and thoughtful touches. I have stayed at Namastay multiple times because it is quite simply, "perfect". It doesn't matter if it is summer, winter or fall. Namastay and Folly Beach do not disappoint. As soon as I step onto the deck overlooking the ocean, my worries and stress melt away. It may be my favorite spot to while away the hours. Catching an amazing sunrise (incredible pinks and oranges) or seeing dolphins swim by makes it even more spectacular. On this last trip I kept my bedroom door open and was lulled to sleep by the waves. A luxury I wish I had in my day to day life! Namastay has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable (I loved the robe and that there were enough towels for everyone.) Aug 31, 2023 #### The Perfect Vacation We spent two weeks in June/July at Namastay and could not have asked for a better vacation. The beachfront location is unbeatable and the house is so comfortable, beautiful, and well-appointed. The house isn't as large as others you'll find along the beach, but it was absolutely perfect for my husband and me, plus my mom and a friend. We prefer the quiet east end of the island, and it felt like we had our own private beach. We spent most of our time either on the beach or on the stunning screened porch, listening to the ocean and watching the surfers, pelicans, and even dolphins. We also enjoyed being within easy walking distance of the nature preserve across from the historic lighthouse. The bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms - Jack and Jill style - were lovely, both with giant showers. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the large, airy front room was perfect for a couple of movie nights with a huge sectional. In general, the decor was stylish but also casual and cozy. If you are looking for a gorgeous, peaceful location and a lovely home, you can't beat Namastay. Aug 31, 2023 #### A Perfect Beach Cottage My family and I had a wonderful visit to Namastay on Folly Beach this year It was a joy having a change of scenery, staying in a beautiful beach front home, walking on the beach, and dining at local restaurants with outdoor seating. Namastay was the perfect home for our family. It is comfortable, well equipped (Nespresso machine! Instant Pot!), and has the largest couch that I have ever seen! We really appreciated all the extra touches at Namastay, such as bathrobes, a bottle of sparkling wine, and stickers and masks with the house logo and name. There are plenty of comfortable chairs and lounging areas, both indoors and outdoors. We love the blue hammocks hanging under the house and the large two person chairs on the front deck. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. There is also a natural gas grill on the beach deck. Although there are lots of great dining options on Folly, we had fun shopping at Bert's Market and cooking at Namastay, too. I cannot say enough about the joys of staying in a home that is right on the beach. The view of the ocean and easy access to the beach made us all happy! Aug 31, 2023 #### Paradise Namastay reminds me of the cottages we used to rent on the SC coast when I was growing up, except it is a luxury cottage! I have stayed at Namastay several times over the past two years. I keep returning because I cannot imagine a better place for beauty and relaxation. The house is decorated well. It is aesthetically pleasing AND comfortable. I love the whimsical frog sculpture on the front of the house, the Buddha that greets you on your way up the front stairs, and the magnificent shell collection you see when you walk through the front door. I begin to decompress the moment I see the Namastay's gorgeous ocean "back yard" through the sliding doors. I see beautiful sunrises from the oceanfront bedrooms and breathtaking sunsets from the front deck. I love being able to walk out the back door, down the private boardwalk, and right on to the beach for my daily walks. When I am at Namastay, I rarely want to leave, but when I do venture out, I love the laid back vibe of Folly Beach. The restaurants are top notch (Surf Bar is my favorite) and the proximity to downtown Charleston is great. I rarely venture out that far, but there is a lot to do and great restaurants to choose from when I do manage to drag myself away from Namastay and Folly. I highly recommend vacationing at Folly Beach when it is warm (and busy!) but also during the winter, when it is very quiet. It is wonderful all year round! It is always hard for me to leave Namastay and Folly, but a friend taught me, "You have to leave to come back," and that saying always helps me remember that I will return. Aug 31, 2023 #### Namastay Namastay was the perfect place for a girls getaway retreat! We had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better home or area! Namastay was further down the beach which we appreciated as traffic was nonexistent. The screened in back porch was our favorite place to be! It seated all of us comfortably and we loved watching the sun set each night with dinner. The front room had a large couch and all of the seats reclined! The reclining "lever" was a round piece between the cushions- We also appreciated that the owner placed cards in each room with instructions on how to use the TVs, espresso machine (Wow! Putting this on my Christmas list now. I didn't know how much I would love a milk frother until I used this all week :)), tidbits about the beach etc. We appreciated the new washer and dryer and the fact that beach towels (for 10 guests) were provided as well. Large showers were a bonus- I have only rented homes with tub showers before and the amount of room in the showers and tile decor was delightful. The lights also dimmed in each room and we were able to use this feature at night. The house has plenty of natural light during the day so we actually never had to touch a switch from sunrise until sunset. Thank you, Namastay, for making our beach vacation so wonderful. We will definitely be renting this home again due to the great location and updated features! Aug 31, 2023 #### True Comfort and Total Relaxation My husband, my mom, and I just returned from our second two-week visit to Namastay, and we feel like a million bucks. The oceanfront location is worth every penny and the home is stylish, comfortable, quiet, and private. I love the way it's nestled behind the dunes. The large screen porch has an incredible ocean view but is totally private. There's nothing better than drinking a morning coffee or evening cocktail on the porch with the ceiling fans and ocean breezes. Two of the bedrooms and much of it the living area have great ocean views as well. It's not as convenient to downtown Folly, but I much prefer the east end of the island because it's more quiet. Some days, we didn't see another person on our stretch of beach! The front of the house has a lovely sun deck and is also very private, but we were too entranced by the ocean to spend much time out there. Parking under the house in the shade is a huge plus too! The house is very well-stocked with every kitchen item you could possibly need. The furnishings are stylish but comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely but the Jack-and-Jill style means you'll want to be sure you're okay sharing. (Just something to consider if you are traveling with others or hosting guests.) MyOceanRental is great to work with and always very responsive throughout the booking process. We didn't have any maintenance issues but I'm sure they would be on top of it if an issue came up.
