The owner met us at the property to walk us through a few things and provided information about the general area. The cottage is within easy driving distance to Abilene, Junction City, and Lake Milford. Cheryl's cottage is very clean and has all the amenities - coffee pods/keurig, filtered water, shampoo/soap, washer/dryer, extra blankets, etc. She told us to feel like we were at home. It was beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished throughout, down to the beds and pillows! There were plenty of extra blankets and pillows, linens, towels, etc. The kitchen was fully stocked with any item we needed for cooking. The yard was fantastic for my kids and dogs! Cheryl was an incredibly thoughtful and welcoming hostess- we wanted for nothing while we were there! Watching the sunsets out front was an evening favorite for us, and the cattle farm was fascinating for us all.
