"First of all. Let’s discuss the property. We have read all of the reviews that were on here and we were nervous about this hotel. We seen the reviews of the ceiling falling down on someone and read how terrible the water is and all these horrible things. The reality is, I am not sure what these people are looking for. From the pictures and after staying there it is clear that the building is at least a 1940s-1950s motor lodge that someone remodeled. For the lack of a better term, you can only polish a turd so much. So I commend the people that own this hotel for the excellent work in transforming this older property into the beautiful rooms and such it has now. Its age however does show through in some of the remodeling but my 1890s house is the same. It’s modern but you can tell the age. There some small things that were minor cosmetic things however this was a great stay. It was our last hotel on a 6,700 mile road trip and it was perfect. I would stay here again. It was clean, affordable and just the perfect location. My only issue was parking. I didn’t have a place to park when I left twice so I had to drive around and wait u til someone left so that I could find a spot. Also, we read how the water does not stay hot, I’m pretty sure I almost burnt myself with the hot water, and I was the 3rd person in line to shower. Oh the one negative is I’m fat and the shower was a little tight for my fat butt. However, the property deserves a higher ranking than a 6. "

"This property was great for what we needed! We were traveling 2 adults and 2 teens and it was great for us. The beds were comfortable and it was a great location. The price was reasonable compared to the others around. We loved that it was walking distance to a lot of things including the beach! Would definitely stay there again! "

"I’ve been to Myrtle Beach hundreds of times. This was my first time staying at Coral Beach. My wife, kids, and I stayed on the 7th floor, ocean front. It was amazing and we WILL be back! I loved the easy & extremely close parking, the keycard requirement for everything; all entry points & elevators. You can truly stay all week and never have to leave the resort! The property is clean, well maintained, and the staff is friendly. Family Kingdom is right down the road, which my 7 & 9 year old thoroughly enjoyed for the early bird price of $28 each. If you walk, which you can from Coral Beach, you’ll save $15 on the parking fee! Both Walmart Express and Foodlion are close to the resort as well for your groceries and beverages! In my honest opinion, the only thing that I can complain about is the elevators. They have 4 total and they are located together in the center. They do stay packed during “peak” times of the day. However, unlike what some of the other reviews claim, you CAN use the stairs and the stairway on the south end of the oceanfront tower exits on the pool deck! This is a great place, you’ll love it so book your stay!"

"Loved it. Only downsides are parking is a little far and we had to ask for towels and TP refresh. That said a great value, close to the beach and we would definitely stay here again. "

"The property is right on the beach and conveniently on the main strip of Myrtle beach. They have a wonderful 24 hour front desk service with helpful staff. We love this hotel so much weve stayed here for the past 4 years when going on vacation. This year they added additional security on the premises and they were extremely friendly. With 3 pools and a kiddy pool the property is well maintained and taken care of. "
