There's also great striper bass fishing on Lake Murray with a fish cleaning station available for your use! In addition there's two boat ramps on the premises to launch your own boat and a dock to moor at! The property offers shared watercraft as well, including 2 Pedal Kayaks, 3 Regular Kayaks, a Canoe, 2 Paddle Boards, Floats, Children's 4 seat paddle boat, and a 15' bouncer on the lake when available during the summer season. The sidewalks around the property are nice to stroll on with awesome views of the lake, fountains, and a pond. Walks in the evening are especially nice when the stars are shining brightly. Island's Sunset Gold Guest Room has a queen bed sleeping 2, it's own private bath, 2 nightstands with lamps, a dresser, a desk by the window to view the lake, two side chairs, a mini fridge, a coffee maker, and an exterior entrance to the rear deck. This room is our smallest guest room. It does not have kitchen or laundry facilities, however, there are lots of restaurant choices nearby, as well as a propane grill on the back deck. \*\*\*\*If more space is needed, additional properties on site can be booked such as: Property Listing #3311929 - Island's Sunset Blue Guest Room which is the largest of the guest rooms and sleeps 2 in a king bed, has a desk with a beautiful view of the lake through the large bay windows, a TV, a recliner chair, a private bath, and a private exterior entrance. This room also has a fridge/freezer/microwave combo, and a single serve coffee maker. There is no kitchen or laundry facilities, but there is a propane grill for use on the back deck. The property was absolutely gorgeous with lake front views, a pool, hot tub, beach fire pit as well as a gas firepit on the covered porch. We sat by the gas firepit while it rained over the lake and it was beautiful! The kayaks were so much fun and the lake was so calm. May 29, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Host is wonderful Our host was amazing not only as a host but as a great person , she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, my husband has a bad back soon as she found out she moved him a special chair in our room. the place is so clean and inviting i would tell anyone to go and enjoy .. the pool is clean and warm. I was officiating the funeral of a dear friend and she was kind and helpful during a challenging time. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake and beach, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes, giant connect 4, giant chess, horse shoes and rooms are comfortable and spotless. We had a wonderful stay at the Island Sunset Guest Room on beautiful Lake Murray. Our host Debra and Dennis provided exceptional service and made our experience even more enjoyable. The room itself was perfect and had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. We were particularly impressed by the pool and sauna facilities, which added an extra level of relaxation to our trip. Though our stay was brief, it was truly unforgettable. Most accommodating host the I have ever experienced!!! They immediately gave us a tour of their available rooms and a guided tour around the beautiful property. The stay at their VRBO is by far the most impressive property that we have stayed at thus far. The grounds are immaculately, landscaped with lit walkways, fountains, trees, and beautiful, flowering shrubs. Our room was very tastefully decorated with a very comfortable bed. The room had a mini refrigerator stocked with beverages, a basket of snacks, and Keurig with coffee, tea, hot, chocolate, etc.. Our hosts provided a very detailed notebook with all the information needed for our stay in our room, including suggestions for local eateries, places to visit, and a map of the lake. This VRBO is a must if you are looking for a peaceful and/or romantic getaway, or just want to have fun on the lake, we highly recommend you consider staying here. If we were to rate it from 1 - 10, this place would be an 11+!! This has been the best VRBO experience and, hands-down the most awesome host we have ever had!
