"My friend & I had a wonderful stay at the Explorean. The jungle setting was beautiful & relaxing. All of the staff were outstanding. They were so welcoming & made our whole visit special. I was especially impressed with the activity team, Jassiel, Nestor, Julio, Armando, Edgar, Vega (along with Epi & Luis on the boats). They made every effort to see that we had a lot of fun. They got to know us & also shared stories of their own lives. We were there for 14 days & asked for a repeat of our favorite excursion, El Ceilo & they scheduled it 2 more times with visits to different parts of the reef. Breakfast & lunch were very nice at Explorean's restaurant, Lool Kan. We enjoyed dinner there, but would have liked more menu choices. It was great that meals & facilities at the Fiesta Americana were also included. The Asian restaurant had amazing food & excellent service. Our favorite place for breakfast was the beach club buffet. The hostess there, Alejandra, knew our name by the 2nd visit & where we liked to sit. My favorite were the delicious tacos Virginia made me every morning. Our favorite lunch spot was at La Cevicheria with savory seafood & an amazing view of the shimmering ocean. One night was special with a buffet dinner on the beach followed by a fire show. Most of the FA night shows were good, but the amplified music would have been much better at half volume. The room was simple, very clean, with ample big towels, comfortable bed & pillows & mini bar stocked daily."

"We wanted a place to stay that was set back from the busy, commercialized places, was quiet, right by the beach, where we could cook if we wanted or eat out if we chose, was close enough that we could still visit the markets, attractions and tours, and most importantly would fit our family of five. Mima's village checked all these boxes. Our kids loved the pool and went swimming every evening. The beach is rocky but alive with sea life. We saw all kinds of fish, octopus, coral, urchin, crabs, rays, and collected so many shells. There is also an awesome little sandy beach area 2 minutes walk down the road. Memo was amazing and so accommodating. He told us all the best places to eat and shop and answered any questions we had. He even taught us how to use the charcoal grill. We had the best time and made so many memories. I highly recommend staying at Mima's village."

"The location was excellent, quiet and out of town but not far, easy drive into town for dinner and shopping. The condo itself was perfect! Fully stocked with towels, coffee, even shampoo and limited toiletries. Water view from the porch and right next to the pool. Parking lot was also very convenient. We will definitely stay again! "

"My time at Fiesta Americana was wonderful! It was the best vacation I've ever had in Mexico, and I have visited many locations around the country over the years. The staff is fabulous from the front desk, to housekeeping, to groundskeepers, to dining room personnel, everyone is wonderful. Special thanks to: Carlos, Jorge, Arturo, Gabriel, Francisco, Joao, Samantha and hostess Alejandra Mac. Even Saul, whose job it was to convince me to buy into the rewards program, was never anything but kind, courteous and helpful. The beachfront property has reopened giving access to the Caribbean & a beautiful setting for dining. I can't wait to return to this wonderful resort!"

"We loved our stay at this beachfront condominium! The place is spacious and immaculately clean. The maid service was an added bonus that I've never had at a VRBO before. One of our favorite things was to just sit in the hammock on the balcony and enjoy the view overlooking the pool and beach. We also loved Tortugas next door for lunch or an early dinner (they close early). The place is very quiet and relaxing and well away from the hustle and bustle of downtown (although it's a short drive if that's your thing). I highly recommend taking some of the many tours available from the island. We enjoyed a diving trip, a snorkeling boat tour, a mainland trip to Tulum and Coba, and a jeep tour to the Jade Cavern cenote. Lupita kindly helped us get set up with some tours."
