It is very quiet and safe, 150 m from the beach and 100 m from the mountain trail that you could explore in the mornings before it gets hot. Lera cave trail is good in the mornings until about 9 am. Amazing view of the area from there. There are also a couple of fantastic restaurants right next to the beach - Google the reviews please. The owner is super-friendly and filled our every request. It was a very nice gesture to have a good coffee and a bottle of nice local white wine in the fridge for us.
