Be prepared though for 3 floor living, tight circular stairs, lots of antique decor and furnishings, base-only showers, inconsistent hot water etc. The AC and WiFi both work well though and there is off-street parking. The village consists of only a few homes but does have a few Taverna restaurants and a small local store. The village is about a 20 minute drive from the main road. Though, we hadn't any information about breakfast or anything apart from which room was ours. The room itself is ok for the price but the bed could've been a bit comfier and the bathing area a bit bigger so one person can fit normally. The breakfast was amazing! On the home page of hotels.com it says that the villa is in the center of the old town in Chania. When we arrived we discovered that the villa was located far away, up in the mountains. We spent 100 Euro on two taxis to go to the villa and back to town! We had to find new rooms for all seven in the old town. We have asked both Ifigenia and hotels.com for a refund. We have sent over proof of the taxi bills and the payment receipt for the new room we had to book. But no response so far other than mails asking for receipts. am really sorry for the way both hotels.com and Ifigenia treated us. We experienced some problems with water pressure in the shower and sink, though only once did it prevent us from showering. We were in the top floor room which may explain the pressure problems. Peaceful. Beautiful. For the price of this hotel, I got more than I expected. The room was gorgeous, had the rustic look to it with a cute small balcony. The room had wine and raki provided for free! Although the stairs were small and spiraled up, it was worth it. Private rooftop in the room I stayed at, great for laying out to catch some sun. Service was outstanding! La suite è molto bella e romantica, spaziosa e con una vista sulle strade interne davvero bella. Il personale è cordiale e alla mano, anche se non tutti parlano bene ingele. Cet hôtel est situé au cœur de la vieille ville très près du port vénitien mais avec l'inconvénient du bruit (jusque tard dans la nuit). L'hôtel est un peu vieillot, très sonore (escaliers en métal) et mériterait un peu de rénovation des équipements.
