### Hippocampo Waterfront Villa

The unique and elegant villa is situated in the historical industrial district of Tabakaria, in a quiet cove, with a private pool and right next to the sea.  
Being a former tannery, it is a preserved building that was renovated in 2023 under the Greek regulations of the architectural composition of the first industrial buildings of the area, providing all modern comforts for an unforgettable stay.  
  
The space  
This is a 3 private bedroom villa with 3 large double beds.  
Two double beds can be converted into single beds upon request.  
In addition, 2 extra persons can sleep in couches.  
  
(We can also offer the service of heated pool at the extra cost of 40 euros/day and 2-3 day notice in advance)

#### Outstanding Villa!!! Wow!! A dream!!

As first time Crete visitors we were soooo pleased with this Villa! So much so we extended our stay 3 nights longer! Do not hesitate to book your Chania stay here. The Villa host met us at check-in, explained where to park, acclimated us to the property. The host was very welcoming and available throughout our stay. The Villa is exceptionally built/designed and has a very well stocked kitchen for true living. Major bonus… you will experience the best sunsets from the private patio and there is an amazing seafood restaurant (a 30yr+ Chania establishment) next door to the Villa. Highly recommend at least 1sunset meal at the restaurant. Don’t worry, the restaurant hustle and bustle is not intrusive at all. This is a truly special location being right on the ocean… a dream really. Our group was 3 adults which was luxurious having our own bedrooms but the Villa is plenty spacious for 3 couples or 2 families etc. I really appreciated the excellent showers, private pool and sun deck, ample clothes storage in the bedrooms, above and beyond stocked kitchen, beautiful furniture and 4 TVs. The Halepa neighborhood is close to Chania Old Town. Some days we walked to Old Town - about 20-25min walk along the water and some days we drove 7min to parking garage near Old Town. Or an easy bicycle ride. Another bonus - 7min walk to the Archeological Museum from the Villa. I quickly learned about the Wolt app which made restaurant/grocery delivery a breeze and affordable. BOOK IT!! Enjoy!!
