Our apartment is part of the 'BLOOM OF BLUE' building, which consists of three separate and unique apartments in front of the sea. 'FORGET-ME-NOT' accommodates six people, featuring three bedrooms all with a sea view, each of which have a double bed. The dining room, and especially the living room, offers a unique view of the endless blue of the sea. The kitchen is fully equipped, together with a dishwasher, microwave oven, water boiler, grill, toaster, coffee maker, as well as a Tassimo coffee machine by Krups. Don’t forget to enjoy your coffee in the clay cups that have been made according to the tradition of the Minoans! Relax, taking your bath in the marble bathroom, and enjoy your breakfast or your meal on the spacious and comfortable balcony with its amazing view. To ensure your comfort during your stay, all the rooms have air conditioning, and the apartment is equipped with a washer and an iron for your clothes, satellite TV, a DVD player and a mini HiFi. We also provide our guests with fresh, aromatic sheets, towels, and beach towels. Combining history, culture, a stunning coastline, exquisite cuisine and an unbeatable landscape, Crete offers an ideal holiday destination, whatever the season. No other Greek island has such a unique combination of attractions, sights & activities together with spectacular scenery full of contrasts and surprises. The prefecture of Chania, at the westernmost part of the island, is characterized by its great natural beauty. With endless sandy beaches, gorges, caves, endemic plants and animals, vast olive and orange groves and a combination of wild landscapes and crystal seas, it excites even the most demanding travelers. Come and enjoy this beautiful and sunny space and get to know the true feeling of Cretan hospitality! Guests have access to the entire apartment, including their private balcony. I do not live on the premises but I am available immediately to attend to any questions or issues that may arise. You will find grocery store, bakery, mini-market and butcher in the road near the house. Greek traditional restaurants are also located a few minutes away from my apartment. You can walk along the seaside to a wonderful park and enjoy the sunset. There is bus service every 20 minutes and the bus stop is just a few meters away from the house. Fresh linen and towels as well as a welcome basket is waiting for you upon arrival. It feels like a palace with marble floors throughout and doors to the outside in every room. The view of the sea across the road from the apartment is spectacular. There is a beach and many restaurants and services within easy walking distance. Maria is an outstanding host, going above and beyond to provide for your every need. ##### Robert H. Parking opposite the property and bus stops a few metres up the street with regular easy access into Chania. The property has everything you need for an easy stay, from beach towels to books and a very thoroughly equipped kitchen. The washing machine means you can travel light and the outside drying racks off the rear balcony mean washing dries fast. Points to note - access is via an external staircase so near in mind for any mobility issues and the second bathroom and shower are very neat in size. Communication with Maria was easy and she was very responsive. We very much enjoyed our stay and would happily return as long as my mother can manage the steps ##### Charlotte P. We stayed at Forget-Me-Not at Chania end September 2023 and had an amazing time. Maria was so great to deal with, she was very prompt in responding and answered all of my questions on car hire, jewellers, buying honey, bus timetables etc. The apartment was exactly as advertised and shown in the photos, it was very clean and modern, the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed, the bedrooms were spacious. Maria had even provided us with a hearty lunch upon our arrival, as well as a beautiful welcome basket with local produce. The location of the apartment was great, right across the road from a swimmable beach. There were also lots of restaurants and grocery stores close by. And the bus stop to the Old Town was less than a 5min walk and the bus takes 20-30min. We had a great time, and would definitely stay again if we were to re-visit Chania. ##### Suma W. From start to finish this experience was amazing…… The apartment is in a very central location and is very well appointed and exceptionally clean. The host ( and partner) we extremely helpful throughout our visit providing recommendations of local places as well as afar. Their friendliness will not be forgotten. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und fast aus jedem Fenster sieht man auf das blaue Meer. Die Möbel sind qualitativ sehr hochwertig und die gesamte Einrichtung sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe zum Detail. Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Ob Küchenutensilien, Müllbeutel oder sonstige Alltagsdinge, alles war vorhanden. Besonders haben wir uns über die "Willkommensgeschenke" gefreut. Die Vermieterin hat einfach an alles gedacht :-) Bei Fragen während des Aufenthalts konnte sie sofort weiterhelfen, gab uns tolle Ideen und Tipps. Vielen Dank für die Herzlichkeit! ##### Birgit D. Von der Lage her ist die Wohnung top. Man kommt wenn man kein Mietauto hat, abends auch sehr entspannt mit dem Bus in die Innenstadt und kann, falls es spät wird, von dort auch ein Taxi nehmen, dass nicht teuer ist. Neben dem Strand direkt vor der Haustüre sind noch ein paar weitere Strände zu Fuß super erreichbar. Alle Strände haben eine blaue Flagge und sind somit super klar und haben eine sehr gute Wasserqualität. Maria die Gastgeberin ist wirklich ein sehr sehr netter Mensch und liegt es wirklich am Herzen, dass man die bestmögliche Zeit in Kreta hat! Wir sind spät abends angekommen und sie hat leckeres griechisches Essen für uns vorbereitet gehabt was sehr nützlich war. Alles in allem auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung wert! ##### Henri L. The apartment was beautifully laid out and just a cross the road from the beach and amenities. The welcome gifts were lovely and Maria's mums cooking was delicious. We didn't hire a car but caught a bus into town and walked around the beautiful town and lighthouse, experiencing all the Greek food and culture. The recommendations helped enormously too. I would definitely definitely recommend this apartment and especially the host Maria who was so very kind and helpful. Also a big thank you to Fotis the taxi driver and Manousos for the welcome. If and when we visit again we will definitely stay here again thanks again x ##### Andrew T.
