My husband and I were on a work-related trip. We had already driven approximately 24 hours and just needed to grab a few hours of sleep before finishing our drive. The room was nice, bed was comfortable, and the hot tub was relaxing. Staff upon arrival was very friendly and accommodating. We were only there to sleep and were gone before breakfast.

This was rated highly by tripadviser and googlemaps so we booked for one night for son's admitted visit. Room was ok clean but outdated. Breakfast had small selection and the pool was freezing. 5 uear old could not swim in it. We normally stay at D Inn anytime we can but they are being remodeled and pool is closed.

Was very clean. Everyone was polite. Work staff was great other than the 2 housekeeping ladies who were very rude when we had to walk thru the hallway. But other than that it was a great stay. Pool area clean n perfect temperature water ... Will be back to visit again.

I want to preface this review by saying that Laura the AGM/Director of Sales and Beaux the Assistant Manager were very nice and I do think they both did everything in their capacity to make up for my experience here at Comfort Suites, which is the reason they gained an extra star, however they were unable to give me results that I desired. I stayed here for unofficial weekend, which took place Friday March 1, 2024-Sunday March 3, 2024. I was placed in room 225 and I contracted 3 itchy bites on my face, back and hand that I identified as bed bug bites. I contacted the GM Fendi about my stay and I have yet to hear a response. I was told that this is busy time for the hotel which I’m sympathetic too however I now have three bites that are extremely itchy, I had to remove my fresh $120 quickweave in fear of bed bugs being in my hair, so that I could wash it, I also had to buy alcohol to spray on my belongings to make sure that I wasn’t bringing any bed bugs back home with me. Not to mention the emotional distress this had on my stay at the hotel and my travel back home. This was a huge inconvenience and today is Wednesday March 6, and I have yet to hear from any of the two GM’s who are the only ones who have the authority to give me back a refund for my stay. I have now taken matters into my own hands to get my money back, so a response is no longer needed. I just want my fellow ILLINI and visitors to know that RM 225 has bed bugs and to BEWARE.

This is why it cannot be an immediate response. After thorough inspection of these 6 rooms we can happily confirm that there are no bed bugs present in any of those rooms and you were not exposed to any at our hotel. We take proactive measures to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of our accommodations, and we adhere to strict protocols to prevent any pest infestations.We understand the distress situations like this can cause. Our team is committed to providing excellent service and addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. Rooms were wonderful and so were the staff. Problems were the guests. One guest let the bathtub overflow which caused a flodd in the breakfast room on the 1st floor causing a fire and forcing us to evacuate at 1030pm on Sat night and unruly guests on the 3rld floor that continued to run, jump and cause noise well past midnight and management could not get them to stop.

The hotel was ok, the rooms were clean. We didn’t have much contact with employees but the one we did were nice enough just wish they had more information. The pool was not closed but had to be refilled on the day we arrived and no one said anything as I got my kids to the pool it was freezing cold. My kids would not even touch the water. So for that reason I am very disappointed because that is the reason we stayed here I brought several people to this hotel for a gymnastics meet. Again none of there kids got in the pool all weekend, because the temp couldn’t have been over 60 degrees.

The hotel was nice. The hot tub was pretty dirty. Young kids were fist fighting in the pool area. Then were in the pool the next without an adult. Breakfast was great but staff stand and watch you the entire time.

One of the toilets in our 2 rooms did not have adequate water for flushing and needed 3 flushes to work. Otherwise it was very good.

Reconsidering
We have always stayed at this hotel. Friendly helpfull staff. Very clean. Snack bar by front desk. Pool and hot tub. Fantastic hot and cold breakfast! The walls are suddenly super thin. We could hear all the noise from kids and families in nearby rooms. Crying babies, children talking.... but! The guys above us! We could hear their every footstep at first. No big. Then, at 4am, they decided to play WWE. It sounded like they were throwing each other all over the room and laughing. It went on for quite awhile. It finally, suddenly stopped so someone must have put an end to it. But if you're looking for a quiet place to get some sleep, you might be disappointed.

Mini Relaxing and Quiet Escape From Day To DayLife
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfy, and quiet rooms. Great breakfast and the pool and hot tub is open 24 hours. Late night before bed soak in the hot tub was so amazing and relaxing.
