We were greeted by two lovely women who brought us champagne and snacks while getting our room ready. We spent a couple hours in the spa enjoying the sauna, steam room, hot tub, and specialty teas. "The location was good for our overnight stop to the channel ports. Although on a busy road the sound proofing was excellent and the traffic could not be heard in the room. All the members of staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant was appropriately priced but definitely not 'haute cuisine'. Our dining experience was marred by flies in the restaurant but we acknowledge that this is an agricultural region."

"Hotel is a bit old and tired in places but is due to undergo modernisation. Ideal location and parking was a godsend even at 13 euro a night. Real shame that the spa was such an expensive extra charge - 29 euro for a swim and sauna for an hour was too much."
