We enjoyed the evening time in the lobby bar by the fireplace, the post-skiing time in the spa and location of the hotel, however, the room amenities were average for the room price point, and the breakfast was relatively limited in its day-to-day variety. Even on Christmas Day, it was the same day-to-day offering with no innovative culinary surprises. Having the view of Mont Blanc from the balcony and from the breakfast area was fantastic! It is a little bit out of the way from the main attractions: Auguille du Midi, the main shopping street, and especially the train station. Our room was small; but quite nice. We had a great stay, the hotel is great. The spa in particular was a highlight, with incredible views and facilities. The view from our room was also amazing. The only thing missing was Aircon in the room, which got pretty hot in the day and at night, so we slept with the balcony door open. The hotel was very convenient to all locations in Chamonix. Additionally, the rooms were quite large, very modern - and had been maintained very nicely.
