Situated in a peaceful residential area the chalet is just 5 minutes walk from the main street, the Saturday morning market and local bus stop. What sets Chalet les Sauberands apart from other properties of this kind is its charming outdoor pool (summer only) which is perfect for cooling off from the midday heat. KEY FEATURES \- Outdoor hot-tub and swimming pool (summer only) with views of Mont Blanc \- Large enclosed garden and terrace with outdoor dining furniture for alfresco meals in the summer \- Separate TV room and entertainment facilities including Free WiFi, UK TV, DVD player and Sonos sound system \- Open log fireplace for cosy, atmospheric winter evenings after a day in the mountains \- Ski and bike storage with a heated boot rack for warm and dry footwear \- Covered parking for two cars and exterior parking for a further two cars BEDROOMS The chalet sleeps up to 12 people in 6 bedrooms. Chalet les Sauberands has a number of features that makes it extremely popular : the TV room is light and spacious and really doubles as a second sitting room with access directly onto the deck; the office is a good size and overlooks the garden; both the hot-tub and outdoor pool (summer only) enjoy mountain views . All this means that there is generous space for groups to spread out. There was plenty of bedroom space for the full group, and enough bathrooms to accommodate everyone comfortably. The house was even nicer than the pictures, with an amazing and sizable living room space and kitchen area. The hot tub was also great to have for our group. In terms of location, our group was skiing every day and it was easy to catch the bus to all mountains in the valley (5 min walk to multiple bus stops). It was also a short walk to town and it is located near many good restaurants and bars. The owners were extremely responsive, accommodating early check in and immediately fixing the few minor issues that popped up during our stay. When the sound system was not working properly, they sent out someone to fix the next day and it worked properly for the rest of the trip. The only minor issue was that the hot water occasionally did not work after a number of people showered, but that might have been related to the heavy snow / extremely cold weather. Overall, I would 100% recommend this chalet to any large group traveling to Chamonix for a ski vacation. ##### Adam T. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. The chalet accomodated an early check in which was super appreciated, and it had everything we could possible need (even robes! For each guest). The location could not be better for exploring the town and for skiing (walkable to train, bus, lifts, restaurants, bars, supermarket, rental shop). Would love to stay again. ##### Francesca D.
