Amazing place right by the river! Clean, quiet, comfortable and in a great location. The staff were very nice. The best place in SD to stop on a long road trip. Would definitely stay here again!

Chamberlain SD
Very cozy and comfortable place to stay after a long day of driving. Check-in was easy and very nice woman at front desk was so accommodating when I added another person to our room. Her information about location of rooms, ice machine, breakfast were spot on. The suite was older but well maintained and spotless. The beds were very comfortable and room was very quiet. It is in a nice central location. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a very nice property. I liked that we could park outside the door and that it included breakfast. The lobby is cute and the staff were very friendly.

We were very impressed about this BW hotel. Very pleasant stay, no complaints. Our room was very nice and spacious and the price was more than fair. We will definitely stay here again on our future travels. Free breakfast was so good and even had real bacon! Win win.

Drug Den
This place is a total dump. I am absolutely SHOCKED it is has an 8.0 rating. There is a horrific chemical smell the moment you walk in the door. The smell is so overwhelming it evokes a headache and nausea. We attempted to open the window for fresh air but there were strange men walking about after midnight. The hotels itself appears to be a drug den. There are very bad things going on at this establishment. Shame on you Hotels.com for even listing this place as an option.

One thing I can assure you of is that we are NOT a 'drug den' We have a high rating on third party websites because we pride ourselves on maintaining a very clean and safe property and that reflects in other guest reviews. We do not have a gated property and cannot control the who happens to be in public at that time of night. We are sorry that you feel this way.

This ‘lodge’ was Best Western’s best try at revamping an old building. It was very drab and the bathrooms were tiny. The woman who checked us in was not very happy to be working there.
