With its wealth of exposed beams and character charm, the smaller detached villa (known as Villa Il Castagno) offers an inviting interior in which to relax and socialise. This villa features two stylish living rooms, one to the ground floor and the other to a mansard gallery floor above.

Featuring a high beamed ceiling, ambient fireplace, soft leather sofa suite, an adjoining dining area and direct private garden access outside, the principal living area sets the scene for year-round entertaining!

A music stereo, guitar and book collection are also on hand for guests’ amusement, whilst a spacious games room with table tennis and garden views offers the perfect year-round distraction.

The separate kitchen is fully-equipped for stress-free stays; with all the must-have appliances to hand including an oven, cooker hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. French doors lead from the kitchen directly out to a sunny terrace. Ideal for making the most of the mountainside scenery, guests can enjoy sitting out here with a morning coffee, an evening drink or a relaxed alfresco meal for 6.

The sleeping accommodation ideally suits groups of 6, and comprises a spacious double bedroom with balcony access to the first floor and a large loft-style family room, which is furnished with a single bed, a second single bed with pull out option and two single sofa beds.

Two spacious family bathrooms, each fitted with a bath tub, wash basin, WC and bidet can also be found to this holiday home.

The chic, tranquil interior continues to delight, with a second reception room with floor-to-ceiling picture windows offering a contemporary twist on a traditional garden room. The sleeping arrangements comprise two double bedrooms (one offers terrace access), a third bedroom with a single pull out bed for 2 (also with terrace access) and a fourth bedroom with double sofa bed. An extra double sofa bed also features to the living room. The layout is completed by 3 contemporary-fitted luxury shower rooms and private laundry facilities.

Surrounding both villas, the private grounds exude exclusive tranquillity; with far reaching mountain views providing a spectacular vista for all seasons. Ancient Argegno offers the perfect base from which to enjoy the very best of Lake Como. With its charming cafes, authentic restaurants, quaint harbour and dramatic River Telo passing through, timeless Argegno also offers passenger ferry crossings to Como and a main lake road which is serviced by a frequent western shore bus service that operates towards Menaggio (22 minutes) and Como (30 minutes).

The delights of the Central Lake are within a 6 minute drive away from Argegno too; making it the ideal base from which to enjoy day trips to the many famous attractions, including Villa Balbianello and Villa Carlotta.
