"This hotel is in the middle of the touristic area, and a short walk from the ferry, shopping mall, beach, and stores. It is also close to the ADO station. It is very safe. The hotel was clean and service was good. It can be loud at night depending on events at Parque los fundadores, but relatively quiet after 11pm. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The room was basic but very clean. Sheets were on bed but not a blanket and it does say that in amenities. The staff was absolutely great, helpful and very friendly! The restaurant attached to hotel had great food and great service. If I was going back to that area, I would stay there again. "

"AMAZING. I (18F) and my friend (18F) traveled to Playa Del Carmen from March 31 to April 5, and we stayed at Hotel Lunata from April 1 to April 5. We had our apprehensions about staying in Cancun because of safety concerns as young travelers. However, at Hotel Lunata, we felt so safe. The staff truly cared about our experience. They recommended a safe bank to go so we wouldn’t get scammed, and allowed us to drop our key off at the front desk every time we left the hotel. This ensured we would not lose the key and could go to the beach without worrying it would be stolen. And we were given free towels for the beach as well. Every night at 11pm, they close the gate to Hotel Lunata so it feels even safer. The rooms were so clean, and the shower was so cute. We also had a street view which was a fun time. There was also a safe where we left our passports and other valuables, and clean, cold drinking water on every floor. I only went to the complimentary breakfast once, but the toast, jam, cereal, and coffee served was all absolutely delicious. Safety aside, the actual hotel itself was gorgeous and affordable and just a walk away from the beach. It honestly felt magical. And there are so many good restaurants nearby which were decently affordable. Overall, our experience was 10x better because of the caring staff at Hotel Lunata, and if we ever come back to Playa del Carmen, I refuse to stay anywhere else. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel. "

"The staff members are friendly and helpful! The room was big and comfortable place to stay. The AC helped us to recover after getting sun burn. The location is convenient. Easy to get to any places you want. Free beach towels are available everyday. "
