I'm glad the studio had working AC units in the windows, but it did have an old, musty smell. There were open gaps under one of the AC units and around the door that could easily be fixed by weatherstripping. At one point, there were several ants that came inside & I used the bottle of ant killer under the sink to kill them (they must have had this issue before if there was a bottle there). There were also several cobwebs in the bathroom & the studio corners, and 2 spiders I ushered outside. The floors and rugs were also un-vaccumed & dirty. For some reason there was grass in the windowsill. I think a little more frequent cleaning could have prevented these things. Owner even took the extra step of connecting me with their mechanic to help me with an issue that came up with my car during my stay.
