Your ultimate getaway is here INSIDE: Spacious kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favorite dishes. There's a large pantry so you will have lots of room to store all your food! A countertop bar with 4 barstools and small dining table which seats 4 in the kitchen with views of the lake. Everyone will enjoy helping! And there's another dining area that seats 6\. Gather in the Great Room to play games or tell tales in front of the fireplace! There's lots of seating in the living area and a large Smart TV for rainy nights when it's time for popcorn and a movie! Downstairs there's another large screen TV with electric fireplace - great place to watch the game or watch a movie. Or maybe shoot a game of pool while enjoying your favorite bevy. BBQ up some steaks on the BBQ under a covered deck (which you'll appreciate if it's raining). Personally I savor quiet time on the sunset deck. In the evening, enjoy the fire pit with s'mores under the stars. Life can't get better than that! And no need to leave your dog behind we know pets are family NOTE: Lake Access is a rolling hill entrance. Lots of beach this year - 2025 The water can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Even if it's stoney…it's fun to go stone collecting – Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all. EXTRA'S: include Wi-Fi, upstairs TV has an Amazon Firestick, Air Conditioning, dishwasher, wood and electric fireplaces, pool table and wet bar, wine fridge, propane BBQ and firepit. We've also included 2 kayaks, a youth paddleboard and some bikes All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 14, violation will result in removal without refund. Parking is limited to 6 vehicles Max 2 well behaved dogs are allowed Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels. More luxurious than home! Our pups loved walking the country roads and exploring the woodlands. The access to the private beach was a bit rugged for the seniors in our party with mobility issues, so they didn't try, but there are more accessible beaches in the nearby towns...just a shirt drive away. Lots to do and see in the area. We were extremely pleased with how quickly our host responded to any queries, and we were taken with the welcome package of smores, popcorn, and even treats for our two Shelties. We got a guidebook that explained a lot about living at that cottage. Unfortunately, the heating in the basement, which was separate from the heating upstairs, did not work. Hot water for showers was a little problematic. Other than these inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay there. Communication with the owner was very good. ##### Ramnik S. What a wonderful oasis. We were greeted with the stunning view of sunny Lake Huron through magnificent west-facing windows. The house is incredibly spacious and has both a luxurious and cozy-cottage feel to it. The property is magnificent. The woodlands on both sides give a lovely degree of privacy. We often sat on the patio out back and enjoyed the singing cicadas and crickets, and several nights sat around the firepit and watched a gorgeous sunset while listening to crashing waves below us. We also loved the private path down to the beach area -- although a little steep at the start, the switchbacks make the mini trek very manageable and pleasant. The six of us ranged in ages from 56 to 83, and we all enjoyed the entire experience. My sister's Australian shepherd was in his element in this highly dog-friendly place. It was wonderful to have an array of indoor and outdoor games available for those of us who wanted to play pool, or bat a volleyball around (for example). There's so much to do and see around the area as well (e.g., we hiked, went to a winery, explored Bayfield and Goderich, went to outdoor markets). Great location, easy access to the water, and picturesque views from the deck.
