"This place is ideally located in Stone Mountain village so access to Stone Mountain park is literally within walking distance. The whole manor was inviting and relaxing. Rooms were large and had added touches like bathrobes to make it very special. "The original Hyatt Place before the renovation was a more comfortable and inviting hotel. The renovations put in very hard and uncomfortable sofas, removed the sink in the small kitchenette area, installed extremely bright lights that do not dim, and removed a comfortable desk for a small corner desk that is very small with an uncomfortable chair. The renovated rooms are also painted a steel gray, that although trendy, is not warm and inviting. "
