This was our second visit. Hotel chosen for convenient location rather than any particular facilities. Beach across the road, all town is right beside and behind, walk anywhere you want to go, easily. Everything is fine, but not exceptional, but that is not a criticism. If you want a reasonable, friendly, clean and unpretentious hotel, this fits the bill. Staff are helpful, rooms good enough (bathrooms a bit cramped but have everything you would want). There is a safe in the room, TV, wi-fi, mirrors, plenty of drawers, double hanging space, comfy beds. Breakfast buffet has everything you'd expect. There is a rooftop bar, sun loungers, indoor pool up there too. It is a good middle of the road hotel, suited us perfectly and we will be back.

We found our experience exceptional with the staff be most helpful A nice hotel away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Lisbon Downtown Lisbon is just a 20-30 minute train ride. The station is just a block away. Beautiful views of the ocean. A nice quaint town just outside the front door

Went for a short break for three nights. Near to the town but far enough away to feel you are in the country. Great view of the rpocks and sea from our room. Staff wer very attentive and noting was too much trouble.
We stayed for four nights in the hotel. Walking distance to the city centre and train station going to Lisbon was a taxi ride for 10 min.we enjoyed the hotel with friendly staff.good breakfast and comfortable rooms.
Wonderful buffet breakfast with lots of choices. Junior suite room facing the ocean was fine....a little small for 3 adults but would work well for a couple.
Hotel is quiet. Lots of restaurants short walk away in historical sector . A pub just up the street for snacks or a beer. Jogging and biking path along the ocean 2 minute walk away.
We walked 10 km along the ocean to Estoril then took the train back.
Atmospheric hotel operated with great professionalism by the staff. Very helpful when KLM lost the luggage in recommending where to shop.
We took the balcony Rooms overlooking the marina which were more expensive but we felt worth the value.
Walk into town was easy and the walk along the coast was safe and picturesque
If you are traveling in the Lisbon area, consider this hotel. It is historic and gorgeous, inside and out, in a wonderful area. It is a ways from downtown Lisbon, but this area is lively and charming as well. Heartily recommended for all. Great breakfast as well!

The receptionist was extremely friendly, helpful and professional and combined with other staff made our stay very enjoyable. The breakfast was good and on site parking a bonus. A bit of outside noise but it is a holiday place and we were there on the weekend. The nearby restaurants with high quality reasonably priced food and bars with ocean views make for a very pleasant stay..
Set around three small sandy bays, including a traditional fishing harbour, the former fishing village of Cascais is now a busy yet relaxed modern resort. The nearby surfing beach of Guincho, with its soft golden dunes, is five kilometres away and Carcavelos beach is 10 kilometres away. Estoril (famous for its casino) is just three kilometres and Lisbon is 29 kilometres away. Several championship golf courses are close by.
