The property is not a 4 star standard compared to other hotels in Austria. When we arrived in the hotel, we were told that the water from the tap is not safe to drink and we were not offered any free water in the room for drinking but we were sent to a supermarket to buy our own bottles of water. The rooms do not have a minifridge. None of the rooms have airconditioning or fans. During the night, the room was getting to an uncomfortable temperature of close to 28C with the windows open. The windows do not have mosquito nets and given that the hotel is next to a lake you can only imagine the bugs which were coming through. The food was abysmal and definitely not reflective of the general Austrian food standard that we have seen in other Austrian hotels. The WIFI does not cover all the rooms either. Our room had zero WIFI coverage. We left after on the second day and we received zero refund or even an apology for the rest of the week. The staff was extremely rude and they couldn't even check that we have prepaid our stay ahead of time wasting hours of our time and waiting around for Expedia to resolve. This hotel should be blacklisted and not offered to customers on the Expedia website. It was a very disappointing stay to say the least.

Very nice hotel, but could improve in some areas
Overall very nice hotel, friendly service, comfortable rooms, good location, spa with indoor+outdoor pool & sauna. Very nice, rich breakfast of good quality ingredients. If you are early riser and want to be at ski lift by 7.55 when it opens, breakfast start might be a bit late (from 7.30 on). Dinners were quite basic, I would expect more. Generally food is very sweet (now explain kids they can't eat it). Few small comments on sauna& pool area: Sauna area suppose to be for adults to relax, but doors don't block sounds very well so you hear screaming kids all the time. Some slippers/flip flops would be nice. Plastic cups for water don't really fit Eco image of the hotel. Overall value is borderline. We were there in the high season, though, when prices were even higher than usually.

Nice plase to take rest.
Hotel Urbani is very nice for the people to take rest. Hotel staffs are quite kind and they have very good foods at reasonable prices.

Prachtig gelegen. De jonge dames in de bediening zijn iets te stil en correct naar mijn mening. De oudere zijn erg vriendelijk een glimlach kort praatje vind ik altijd wel leuk. Eten is altijd een buffet erg fijn vind ik alleen mag dat qua kwaliteit wel iets hoeger.

Struttura molto accogliente, ottimo servizio in generale, dall’accoglienza fino al check-out. Tutto il personale è gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Un particolare complimento alla responsabile del Ristorante - grande professionista italiana! Le camere sono pulitissime, così come l’area weekend. Per concludere molto comodo il servizio gratuito del pullman verso le piste da sci, la fermata si trova davanti al Hotel.

Ein traumhaftes Hotel in perfekter Lage am Ossiacher See. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers mit Balkon und Seeblick war super. Das Bett lag sich sehr bequem, die Dusche war ebenerdig, das Waschbecken groß. Der Blick nach draußen war wunderschön. Das Essen im Restaurant war lecker und reichhaltig. Der Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Der Pool- und Saunabereich ist ebenfalls toll, lädt einfach zum Wohlfühlen ein. Alles war sauber und eines 4-Sterne-Hotels angemessen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Bel soggiorno per famiglie
Avrei preferito poter pagare tutto in hotel anzichè avere la trattenuta del deposito sulla carta di credito (my fault, non avevo verificato prima di prenotare dando per scontato di poter pagare tutto lì). Per il resto il soggiorno è andato molto bene. Presenze in maggioranza austriaci, solo per S. Silvestro/Capodanno sono arrivati più italiani (comunque meno del 50% delle presenze). Una coppia si è lamentata perché il personale dell'hotel sapeva poco l'italiano. Sinceramente non è un grosso problema, un po' di italiano lo capivano tutti, alcuni erano persino madrelingua e altri lo parlucchiavano. Con un inglese basico non ho avuto nessunissimo problema né in hotel né fuori, dove pochissimi capiscono italiano. Ambiente più per famiglie che per singoli. Può capitare che qualche bambino pianga in sala da pranzo o faccia un po' di confusione ma in genere non hanno dato particolare fastidio. Bella la piscina per famiglie/bambini e molto bella la sauna con divieto di costume (minimo 16 anni), un bell'ambiente in cui ci si sente a proprio agio anche con gli altri ospiti che ho trovato discreti e molto easy. Peccato per qualche nostro connazionale un po' provincialotto e fuoriluogo non altrettanto discreto che non si adegua alle usanze del luogo tenendo il costume e mettendo a disagio gli altri.

Ottima vacanza
Hotel pressoché perfetto. Camere pulitissime, servizi impeccabili (animazione bimbi, reception, piscina, wi-fi ecc.). Ottimo il fatto che la cena sia a buffet, così chi ha bambini non deve aspettare il servizio (di solito lungo). Unica pecca (inevitabile credo ovunque) il fatto che a Capodanno si sia riempito di italioti maleducati.

Hotel je ideální pro rodiny s dětmi. K dispozici je zdarma i dětský koutek s programem pro děti. Hotel je ve všech směrech 4 * pouze ve stravě bych hodnotil jako 3*. Vlastně ale není nic na co si konkrétně stěžovat ( každá den jedno jídlo z ryb, jedno jídlo místní, jedno jídlo pro děti,...) ale bylo to takové fádní. Personál ale milý a ochotný ( což všude v Rakousku není úplně zvykem). hotel mohu pro rodiny s dětmi jen doporučit.

Tolles Hotel mit sehr gutem Service.
Wir waren mit unseren beiden Söhnen (9 und 3,5) für 4 Nächte im Hotel Urbani im Skiurlaub. Der erste Eindruck war schon hervorragend. Die Dame an der Rezeption war unglaublich nett und freundlich und nicht nur gekünstelt sondern einfach ehrlich. Das Team vom Service über das Küchenpersonal bis hin zur Kinderbetreuung war ebenso sehr freundlich und bei Fragen oder Wünschen hatten Sie immer ein offenes Ohr. Preis Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut.

Wir haben einen 10 tägigen Familienurlaub mit unsrer kleinen Tochter (4) am wunderschönen Ossiacher See verbracht. Das Hotal hat sich dabei in quasi allen Belangen für uns in einem sehr, sehr guten Zustand präsentiert. -Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Angestellte -Sehr sauberes Hotel, sehr sehr sauberes Zimmer -Reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet das keine Wünsche offen gelassen hat -Sehr viele Möglichkeiten für Freizeitaktivitäten angefangen vom Hotelpool, sowie dem Hoteleigenen Seestrand mit diversen Wassersportmöglichkeiten wie Tret- oder Motorbotfahren oder auch Surfen, etc. bis hin zur Möglichkeit Fahrräder auszuborgen (Radweg führt direkt an der Haustür vorbei und dürfte wohl um den gesamten See führen, wenn man denn so weit fahren möchte). -Für Personen die es stören könnte, die Bundesstraße welche den See umrundet sowie eine Bahnstrecke führen direkt am Hotel vorbei (Bergseite). Falls dies ein Störfaktor sein könnte, sollte man Seeseitige Zimmer buchen. Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht, waren rundum sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Alles perfekt für Jung und Alt (ausser man stört sich daran, wenn auch kleine Kinder rumwusseln;-) Tolles Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten inklusive. Alles freundlich und nett. Verpflegung sehr gut.

Sehr nettes un schönes Hotel mit excelenter Lage!
Ideales Hotel für Familien mit Kleinkindern. Kostenlose Mahlzeiten, Kinderstube, Saft, ... Schöne und saubere Zimmer, kleiner aber feiner SPA bereich, guter Ausgangspunkt für den Skiurlaub im Winter. Die Lage direkt am See ist Perfekt! Wir werden auf jeden Fall das Hotel noch im Sommer besuchen um den Ausenbereich (Strand) am See zu Erleben! Danke für alles!
