A beautiful field surrounds the property that features pond access for kayaking, fishing, canoeing and swimming are just a short walk down the hill. Heald Pond is a pristine pond almost a mile long with 14 camps spread along the east shore of the pond. The west side is a nature preserve with no homes many trails for walking and hiking. Golf is only a ten minute drive to The Kezar Lake Country Club, an 18 hole public course that is a real jewel in the wild. Kezar Lake is only a short drive away and provides opportunities for boating, swimming, and kayaking. Area Attractions While you may find that you never want to leave "The Pond", you may want to venture out and experience great hiking, golfing, shopping, dining, attractions for the kids and much more! HIKING The mountains and lakes region of Western Maine and The White Mountain National Forest has hiking and biking trails for all skill levels. This 150-vertical foot mountain takes approximately 3 hours with a distance of 3 ½ miles.
