The two bedrooms have windows and large windows overlooking the surrounding woods. Each room has its own bathroom with shower. The modern style kitchen is well equipped, the living room has a large and panoramic window overlooking the surrounding countryside with the Mediterranean sea in the background. From the living room, a glass staircase gives access to a large space under the roof where an additional bed is available. The whole house has been furnished with particular attention to the quality of the products, the modern style furniture is absolutely new. For fans, an acoustic guitar is available to brighten up your holiday. The exterior is well cared for, a large space, partly paved and partly with lawn surrounds the whole house. The exterior is also furnished with a table and chairs, a BBQ, sofas and a chaise longue for outdoor use. A private land of about 8000 square meters, partly olive grove and partly oak forest, surrounds the villa and guarantees the absolute privacy of the guests. At 1.5 km, in the small village of Sant'Ambrogio you can find three restaurants, a pizzeria, a bar and a small supermarket. In addition there is the possibility, from the country, to reach the beach on foot, via stairs that lead directly to the sea. Rates are indicative for two people and vary according to the number of people. First, the description is totally correct. The villa is very convenient, very well maintained and very well equipped. Everything you need is there. The amazing sea view is unbeatable and in a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Second, the kindness of the owner, Mr. Stefano who was always available should you need something. Sant'Ambrogio, the small village nearby is a very beautiful typical Sicilian one where you can find 3 nice restaurants and a small supermarket. Cefalu, that is at only 10 minutes drive is much more beautiful and attractive place than famous places like Taormina which is totally crowded and full of people who wants to show up. Worked well elsewhere in Italy during our 30 day sojourn.Once at the villa: you can't beat the view!It's a little cozy; kitchen is small even for guests who don't plan to cook much, and the loft has a double bed but low roof ceiling and a minimal but attractive steel and glass tread stairway leading to it.We visited during cool weather. The main level ventilation worked very well in the two bedrooms; did not see a ventilator in the main/kitchen area, just a space heater, so can't say what it would be like in summer.Kitchen could use some better countertop appliances and utensils. Suggested these to Stefano, and he was eager to hear it; he said if tenants don't tell him these things, he cannot know it because he doesn't live there.Laundry is in an outbuilding; washer only, drying rack available.Host Stefano is a wonderful, humble, and sincere person, and yet very engaging. We are seriously considering a return in 2027.P.S. - the donkey showed up one day in the olive grove on the adjacent property. He/she was looking for attention, so we bought an apple at Conad. But the donkey didn't do an encore! We were disappointed, but we left the apple for him/her (didn't get close enough to make that determination). ##### Peter B. What a lovely welcome we had off Stefano and throughout our stay at this stunning villa with amazing views. Everything about the villa was totally exceptional. The showers are the best we have experienced in any villa or hotel anywhere across the World! It is perfect! We would loved to have stayed for weeks and weeks. Also do admire all the stonework of the villa and all the walls. This was all done by Stefano himself and he is not a tradesman! This was Heaven on Earth! Thanks Stefano! ##### Paul W. He met us in the village to take us to the villa. On arriving, the view from the villa was breathtaking - no high rise buildings and lovely and quiet. Our view was of the sea and hills and the pool was amazing and lovely and warm. The villa itself was just right. There are two bedrooms with air conditioning which was really needed during the heatwave. The upstairs doesn't have air conditioning and would only recommend using this room if it's not during the summer as it gets really hot. Our 18 and 21 year olds were happy to share a room and it worked out well. We feel that a car is needed to explore the surrounding areas and the walk to the restaurants is just under a mile which would be ok but it's a steep hill so not easy to walk up and down in the height of summer. Any other time of the year it would be fine as we like walking. There are two really good restaurants in the village - one called Sikula with really polite and friendly staff and the other restaurant is a Trattoria which has a lovely view of the sea. There is also a little shop in the village. We would definitely recommend this villa - there is a large window which gives a panoramic view of the infinity pool and scenery. We had such a lovely relaxing time here, even though we were caught up in the heatwave. Loved it! Thank you ##### gillian w. The view over the bay with the sunset every night, the perfect temperature infinity pool, the bedroom AC, friendly attentive service from Stefano and completely private location. Die fantastische kleine Villa ist etwas versteckt und abgelegen in den Bergen von St. Ambrogio mit einem atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer und die nahegelegene Stadt Cefalu. Das Haus und das Anwesen sind sehr gepflegt und lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Allerdings benötigt man auf jeden Fall ein Auto, uns hat es jedoch nicht gestört. Zusätzliche Gäste waren nach kurzer Absprache herzlich Willkommen. Wir werden unseren nächsten Urlaub dort auf jeden Fall wieder verbringen und können die Villa nur weiterempfehlen. ##### Nicole K. Der Infinity Pool ist toll. Wenn sich der Himmel darin spiegelt hat man das Gefühl, dass Meer, Himmel und Pool eins sind, traumhaft! Die Inneneinrichtung ist wunderschön, die Betten total bequem. , die Küche gut eingerichtet. Kein Lärm von nirgends, man schläft wie ein Stein! Herrlich. Das Grundstück ist riesig und die Sitzplätze sehr gut eingerichtet. Auf der Terrasse kann man sich mit wunderbarem Meerblick sonnen und findet rund um das Haus aber auch immer einen Schattenplatz. Es gibt hier gar nichts auszusetzen. Stefano, der Vermieter ist ein sehr sehr netter Mann. Er spricht sehr gut Englisch und steht einem mit Rat und wenn nötig Tat zur Verfügung. Unser Aufenthalt war perfekt. Liebe auf den ersten Blick! Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle Stefano für alles und auch dafür dass wir in deinem wunderschönen Haus Ferien machen durften.
