I INVITE YOU TO READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION SO YOU CAN BE WELL INFORMED ABOUT EVERYTHING. The cottage is a modern style house, in the Capo Plaja district, a quiet area 7 km from Cefalù, ideal for those looking for relaxation and want to stay away from the city. The swimming pool for the exclusive use of guests is 3.5 x 10 meters wide and 1.20 meters high and has a comfortable solarium. The garden around the house is full of olive trees. There is a large concrete and steel BBQ. The little ones have plenty of space to play around the house. The cottage has an open space with a living room with a regular double sofa bed 160x190 and a kitchen; the double bedroom, the main one, has a walk-in closet; the second bedroom can have two single beds or by joining them you can have a double bed; there are two bathrooms and in one there is a washing machine; at the entrance of the house there is a storage room useful for leaving suitcases; all rooms have air conditioning. . A few steps from the house there is the private beach, a very intimate place to sunbathe, swim in its fresh waters, fish from its cliff, do yoga and watch the sunsets; 200 meters away there is the long beach of Salinelle where you can take endless walks or jog. We are always 7 km from Cefalù, so when you want to take a tour of the splendid tourist city, visit the Cathedral, stroll through the streets of the historic center enjoying a good ice cream, eat in one of the various restaurants overlooking the sea, in an instant you are there. We have 2 supermarkets nearby, 2 restaurants-pizzerias, a wellness center and a water park for the entertainment of the little ones. The house is easily accessible from the highway which is just 1.5 km away. TOURIST TAX - According to the law from art. 4 of Legislative Decree no. 23/2011, guests are required to pay the relevant tourist tax at check-in, and it is my responsibility to collect it. The tourist tax to be paid is €2 per night per person, for the first 5 nights, in cash at check-in, children from 0 to 12 years are exempt, e.g. 3 people including 1 child of 10 years, for a stay of 7 nights, will have to pay €20. PHOTOS OF DOCUMENTS AND CONTRACT - According to the law of art. 12 of the Tourism Code (Legislative Decree 23 May 2011 n. 79), art. 12 of the Tourism Code (Legislative Decree 23 May 2011 n. 79) and art. 19 bis of Legislative Decree n. 113/2018, at check-in I am required to take a photograph of the document (identity card or passport) of all guests, and to have the contract filled out, i.e. a sheet with the summary of the booking data and signed. AIR CONDITIONING - You are my guest and therefore I don't want you to feel hot, but... it is forbidden to set a temperature lower than 24°, and to leave the air conditioner on when you are not at home. At 24° the rooms cool down and you no longer feel hot. When outside is too hot as in summer, if you set a temperature lower than 24° the air conditioner cannot reach it because the difference is too large, instead what happens is that the air conditioner works under strain and produces so much water that isn't drained well and instead comes down from the split causing damage to the furniture (or doors) it encounters. POOL - The pool is regularly active from May to October, on request it also opens in April. During your stay I will come to check and clean the pool two or three times a week, early in the morning so as not to disturb, but we will agree on the days and times together with the check-in. WASTE -Upon check-out you will have to throw away your waste in the designated area that I will communicate to you upon check-in. Of course you can also throw away rubbish during your stay if you need. CRIB AND TABLE HIGH SEAT - Upon request, a cot and table high chair can be provided. It must be kept in mind that the cot cannot be in the bedrooms because there is not enough space. It is also forbidden to move the bed, you still risk ruining the wall or the bed because there is no space. The villa is perfectly located, just a 10 minute drive into the beautiful Cefalu but we were happy to spend most of our time using the incredible pool and garden, with the occasional wander down to the public beach for a sea swim. Alternatively, the private beach is lovely for sunset visits & exploring the rock pools.The villa was very clean with everything we needed, and our host Salvatore provided lots of information to make the stay an excellent one. He was always available for any queries we had and came round early one morning to change towels and maintain the pool.We had swims at sunrise and sunset in the sea and had some lovely meals in Cefalu (pizza at il Locale with a street violinist playing nearby was amazing) and overall had an incredible stay.Highly recommended ##### Peter B. The villa has great outdoor space including seating, sunbeds, barbecue and a private pool (well kept by Salvatore) - short walk to beaches for swimming and snorkelling (we preferred the public beach 5 mins walk away but there is a private beach too for just a few villas). Out of Cefalù so not so busy and only a short drive to bakery, supermarket and restaurant. Not easy to walk to nearby restaurant as roads are busy with no path but can walk along the beach. The villa is well maintained and had everything we needed. Many thanks to Salvatore who was up early to clean the pool most days so it was ready before we got up. ##### Joanne L. Close to Céfalu, close to the waterpark , .. When you come back from the busy Céfalu, the silence is welcoming you back home ;-) The private beach was a little busy but it was the beginning of August, the Italian holiday . We went to the public beach where it was also busy but ok. In the evening the private beach is beautiful to watch the sunset... The host Salvatore was always present for some good advice, even for the stupid questions :-D ..(sorry Salvatore..) It was really nice that Salvatore came 3 times a week to clean the pool early in the morning. So when we woke up, everything was ready to just jump into the pool. The two bedrooms have their own bathroom and also a climatizer in each room. The kitchen is very well equipped with good stuff to cook or clean the dishes but also to prepare food . Outside you have a lot of table chair and sun chair close to the swimming pool. The swimmming pool is not very deep but highly enough to swim easily. We go there in end of april and with the nice weather we can use it, so not so cold. To conclude a very nive place to stay. It has a lovely pool which although quite shallow is perfect for children. Our 2 year old grandson loved it, as did we. It is very quiet particularly in the mornings. At night there is a little noise from a music club maybe 100 yards away but it is not intrusive and ends at a reasonable time. The villa is quite well equipped and comfortable. The kitchen enables you cater for yourselves which we did fairly often. The only things we couldn't find were wooden spoons and a Lasagne dish! The 'private' beach was brilliant, being only 70 yards or so from the villa. It is quite tricky to negotiate the steps particularly carrying a 2 year old but once down you have it almost to yourselves. It is shallow sea with rock pools. Crystal clear and very warm water. We went on several occasions collecting a variety of shells, crabs, fish, shrimps or just lazing in the water. This was quite a contrast to the public beaches we went to where you could barely have got a T Towel on the sand. They were packed! Salvatore is a very pleasant man who made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Communication with Salvatore from the initial booking up to our arrival was excellent. He even sent us photos in March/April showing construction of the pool at different stages. We had a very nice holiday at this villa and would recommend it to those wanting a little peace and quiet. Der unmittelbare Strand in der Nähe des Ferienhauses ist aufgrund der Vermüllung mit Plastik nicht wirklich sonnen- oder badetauglich, am felsigen Privatstrand schöne Sonnenuntergänge erlebbar, aber kein Baden.Einkaufen in der Nähe (3 Autominuten) im ARD Discount, hier auch Bahnstation Lascari - Auto auf Bahnhofsparkplatz stehen lassen und mit dem Zug nach Palermo (App Trenitalia für Auskunft und Tickets), bloss nicht mit dem Auto nach Palermo!! Auch Cefalú lieber mit Zug und nicht unbedingt am Wochenende - immer voll, Parken geht eigentlich nur am Lungomare Parkplatz.Die Mühe, sich nach Taormina aufzumachen, kann ich nur empfehlen…zumindest ausserhalb der Hochsaison ein Traum…in der Hochsaison aber sicherlich völlig überlaufen und mit Parkplatzproblemen.Empfehlung: in die nähere Bergregion fahren (Bergdörfer Collesano und Isnello) für schöne Ausblicke und normal alltägliche Eindrücke.Siesta-Zeiten (13-17 Uhr) auf Sizilien immer beachten. Lekkere ruimte om het huis met eettafel om te ontbijten en loungeset om in de schaduw te relaxen. Heerlijke ligbedden bij het zwembad. Es liegt in einem wunderschönen rundherum abgeschlossenen Olivenhain mit viel Blumen. Auch im Inneren ist alles perfekt ausgestattet inklusive eines begehbaren Kleiderschrankes. Die Klimaanlagen, die wir auf Grund der Nachtkälte kaum gebraucht haben, sind sehr leise und effektiv. Trotz des moderaten Klimas im Mai (tagsüber nicht über 28° C nachts nicht über 20° C) war der große private Pool, anders als das in kurzer Entfernung liegende Meer schon angenehm temperiert . Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat zweimal die Woche ganz früh morgens, während wir noch schliefen, den Pool gereinigt. Da wir Sonntags nachmittags ankamen, hatte er auch schon erste Lebensmittel (Kaffee, Wein, Wasser, Gebäck, etc) eingekauft. ##### Volker P. Umgeben von Olivenbäumen am sehr gepflegten Pool, am 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernten herrlichen Naturstrand oder in dem sehr gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus - wir haben es sehr genossen. Salvatore ist ein sehr aufmerksamer, stets erreichbarer Gastgeber. Und in 10 Minuten Entfernung mit dem Auto lockt Cefalú, die schöne Stadt unter dem Felsen und am Meer. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts und man erkennt, dass man sich um die Liegenschaft kümmert. Der Kontakt mit Salvatore war ebenfalls sehr angenehm. Der Pool und die Nähe zum Strand sind ebenfalls ein grosses Plus für die Unterkunft. Einziges Manko für uns war die Tatsache, dass es nur die Möglichkeit via Hauptstrasse gab, um aus dem Quartier rauszukommen. Als Läufer ist das nicht ideal. ##### Nicolas S. The location is great, a short walk to a private beach and another larger beach. Both were great for swimming and snorkeling. Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte alle was man sich wünscht. Das Pool war fantastisch, das Wasser war sehr sauber und warm. Die Klimaanlage arbeitete gut, sodass man nachts sehr gut schlafen konnte. Die Ausstattung und Lage waren wirklich perfekt. Man konnte den herrlichen Pool genießen und auf der großen Terrasse entspannen. Die Jungs haben gerne die Tischtennisplatte genutzt. Wenn man zum Meer wollte, war es nur ein kurzer Fußweg zum privaten(!) Strandabschnitt, etwas felsig zum reingehen, aber mit Wasserschuhen kein Problem, oder zum nahegelegenen öffentlichen Sandstrand, der auch nie überfüllt und sehr sauber war. Der Vermieter Salvatore war sehr hilfsbereit und hat alle Fragen beantwortet. Seine Empfehlungen für Restaurants waren alle super, wir haben immer sehr gut in der Umgebung gegessen! Mit dem Mietwagen ist man schnell in Cefalu. Zum einkaufen empfiehlt sich der MD Supermarkt. Wenn man gerne Natur mag, sollte man unbedingt eine Tour in der Tiberio-Schlucht buchen (goleditiberio.com), das war ein echtes Highlight. Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und können Sizilien, die Region und vor allem das schöne Haus wirklich jedem empfehlen. Danke Salvatore! ##### Ursula S. Jul 12, 2022 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Sehr sehr schön Man weiß nicht wo man anfangen soll .. er war einfach traumhaft .. der Gastgeber Salvatore ist einfach der beste , er hat uns vor der Anreise alles detailliert gezeigt wie man das haus findet , hat uns in dem Hause schon ne Kleinigkeit gekauft für den ersten Tag und bei Allen Belangen geholfen . Die Unterkunft selber muss man sagen das ist einer der besten Häusern die man in dieser Gegend finden kann , die Inneneinrichtung ist aufjedenfall deutscher Standard ( das ist nicht selbstverständlich in Sizilien ) jedes Zimmer hat ne Klimaanlage, man kann sich nur Wohlfühlen.. ..nicht zu vergessen der Pool der uns definitiv den Urlaub erleichtert hat !!! Und einfach ein Luxus ist für dort vor allem da es privat ist und kein Gemeinschaftspool!!! … Salvatore kommt sogar jeden 2\. Wir waren mit unserer Familie eine Woche im April in dem wunderschönen Haus. Es liegt sehr idyllisch in einem Olivenhain und ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Besonders viel Spaß hatten wir mit dem großen Pool und der Tischtennisplatte. Der Pool war natürlich noch eiskalt, wurde aber trotzdem viel genutzt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Salvatore ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und hat uns freundlich empfangen und unsere Fragen stets super beantwortet. Es ist großzügig eingerichtet, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Es liegt ruhig inmitten eines Olivenhains und in unmittlbarer Nähe zum Strand. Ein kleiner Nachteil der Lage ist, dass man außerhalb der Saison (Juli/August) für Einkäufe etc. mangels Busangebot auf ein Auto angewiesen ist. Der Pool hat uns besonders gefallen. Er ist in bestem Zustand und wird drei Mal pro Woche gereinigt. Auch die Tischtennisplatte haben wir häufig genutzt. Salvatore ist ein sehr freundlicher, unkomplizierter und ausgesprochen hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Er hat auf unsere Fragen und Anliegen immer schnell und hilfreich geantwortet.
