Loved my stay
To hazardous to travel on I80 I decided to pull over to wait out the blizzard to pass. The hotel was was well kept and very clean. The warm pool was the best antidote for the white out blizzard occurring outside. The hotel was quiet and safe and had the best sleep that I have had in months.

Last Resort
We decided to stay here due to some weather. Front desk was less than interested in getting us checked in. Got to our room and it was frozen. Cranked heater up for it to never work. Literally stood around the hair dryer trying to get warm. Went to front desk to complain. Wasnt offered a different room or anything. Asked for extra blankets, got sheets... couldnt even turn the tv on. Asked how, was ignored. My wife, 2 children and myself slept in our jackets and snow pants under blankets and still froze all night. Says it includes breakfast, couldnt be bothered to put it out. After multiple people complaining they put out 3 bagels and 8 of those mini cinnamon roll thingys. Only time feont desk was interested in us was when our car wouldnt start. "Need to book another night?"... I'll sleep in my car at negative 20° before i deal with this place again. Asked for the room to be discounted due to the lack of amenities, they agreed. Not only was the room not discounted, they added 3 seperate charges.

The hotel was very clean. First hotel my wife didn't feel the need to wear some type of footwear inside our room. The breakfast area was and nice and clean and well supplied. Pool area was clean and inviting. The staff was friendly and attentive. Would stay here again if we are in the area. 10 out of 10!

Got a dirty room the 1st time. Walls are paper thin could hear the guy in the next room coughing all night and was just loud. It’s out in the middle of nowhere and had to drive 10 minutes to get something to eat.

If you need a relatively new motel that is clean and shiny this is the place. If your looking to be greeted at the check-in desk, This isn't the place. Upon my arrival at 4:30 pm there were 3 of us awaiting anyone to sign us in, after waiting 10 minutes I finally picked up the front desk phone and waited again until a person picked up and responded to our need at the desk. If your looking to have WYFI available, this isn't the place. Yes the room key did have the internet password hand written within it it was poorly written and the required capitalization that was NOT indicated. After several attempts to gain internet access I again attempted to call the front desk for help or clarification only to be meet with the same difficulty in that after 3 attempts no one answered the phone or was available at the front desk to speak with I gave up!! If you would like to enjoy any dinning, this is not the place. It was 6 miles one way to the nearest town of Williamsburg, a limited farming community which did offer dining. Upon checking out the following morning I was greeted by the manager Mr. Ken Pattel. I then had to ask for a payment receipt which the check in person never offered. I ask Mr. Pattel about t the failed internet access, at which time ha began to argue that there was WIFI. He then addressed the capitalization requirements, which pointed out to him that as written in the key card sheath that there are NO CAPITIALIZED letters written. I won't be stay there again!!

Our room is clean and comfortable. Friendly staff and easy check in. Good breakfast. Convenient location just north of I-80 at Exit 225. The nearest restaurant and shopping was 5 miles west on I-80 at exit 220.

Our last experience of a Wyndham (Motel 8) last year was beyond dire so, despite good reviews for this Wyndham, we weren't hugely confident but options were limited for the date we wanted. However must say how impressed we were with everything about the Americinn - clean, well-appointed rooms, good coffee machine, excellent pillows & comfy bed, nice breakfast.

pretty ordinary. Strange setup in bathroom. Light switch was on the wall outside the bathroom. Sink and mirror were outside the bathroom. Tried to turn on the heater, it smelled like something burning and set off the smoke detector, so we shut it off. Informed the staff but they said it was normal for starting the heater for the first time. Staff should have started all of the heaters as the fall season started.

Great place to stay!
Very clean and comfortable place. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool. Nice, quiet, clean facility. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice hotel near Amana Iowa
Was unsure of hotel or location, but was very pleased. From check- in to exit. Staff was very nice and friendly, whole place and room kept up extremely well. Price a little high but you will enjoy your visit.

This is now the thurd motel we have stayed in this last year hoping to swim after a day of siteseeing and activity. Every last pool was freezing because their indoor pools were unheated. We've decided to stop using Expedia and make reservations ourselves. If they are unheated from now on we will leave. Very disappointing.

The hotel was quiet, very clean, comfortable, and not far from the Amana Colonies. Everything was wonderful except their drinking water. I wasn’t able to enjoy coffee or tea during the continental breakfast due to the water’s taste but in the scheme of things it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again as well as recommending it to others. Thanks for a great weekend!

There were two times our tv did not have a signal. We received assistance in a timely manner. The bed mattress was a bit firm. Overall the room was very clean. Breakfast was adequate.

This was a very clean, mid price hotel. Nice breakfast in the morning. Staff very pleasant & helpful when around. They did not man the front desk all the time, you had to call on the house phone which was annoying. Clean indoor pool and very convenient to I-80.
