Breakfast, staff and parking were all fine. The room was not what we expected. It was not particularly clean; the bathroom tiles were loose, the toilet has black substance around the rim of the bowl. The bedframe had dirt and debris in it. The carpet in the elevators was stained and torn. The room we were given was a handicap room even though we did not make that request or need it.

Well-maintained, clean and quiet. The breakfast us amazing and kept well stocked. The bed was very comfortable, but the 2 queen bed room has no refrigerator or microwave. The fitness room was small and didn't have 5 or 8lb. weights. Overall it was a very pleasant stay.

We booked a king suite but intentionally did not book an accessible room which was an option. We were "assigned" an accessible room upon arrival and told that "because we booked through a third party" (Expedia) we could not have a non-accessible room as " those were for guests that booked directly with the hotel" when they were overbooked. After much discussion, the manager said that they had found a non-accessible room, but it would not be ready for 30 minutes. We left and returned a little later when we were given keys for room 328. Upon entering this room it was a standard or deluxe room, not a king suite as we had paid for. After much discussion, again, the desk person (the manager refused to come to the front desk) agreed to put us in a room similar to a king suite at Homewood Suites, which is a related Hilton property next door to the Hampton Inn. The Homewood Suites room and facility was good and the staff was great. We were told that this Hampton Inn franchise was sold to a different owner sometime in the not too distant past. Since we have stayed at this Hampton Inn over the years many times and all was satisfactory, we believe that the sale explains the deteriorating situation with the staff that we have recently witnessed. I would think that Expedia would be concerned with the hotel treating those who book through you as second class citizens who can be placed in rooms of a lesser quality than the room that they booked and paid for.
