"Stayed here after a long day at cedar point. Room was very clean. Outdoor pool was nice. Great way to cool down. Hot tub was also in good working condition. Suggest bringing your own pillow. Breakfast was simple but effective."

"Staff was fairly friendly. Parking was easy and breakfast at Perkins was delicious. I will say the room did not feel very clean but we only stayed two nights and didn't need to be in the room a whole lot. I just expected with the price I paid, the room and bathroom would have been a bit cleaner."

"We stayed at this home for the second year in a row, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. This time we visited with two other couples, and the layout was perfect — each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom, giving everyone privacy, while the kitchen and living area made it easy to cook, relax, and enjoy great conversation together.We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the screened‑in patio. The location is ideal, with easy access to restaurants in both Catawba and Marblehead, and it couldn’t be more convenient for catching the ferries to Kelly’s Island and Put‑in‑Bay.There’s also a small store, beach, and restaurant nearby, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The water taxi wasn’t operating this year, which would have been a nice bonus, but it didn’t detract from our experience at all.Another wonderful stay — we look forward to returning."

"The beds were comfortable the room was clean and the staff was very friendly. The ceiling in our room had some sagging areas. The shower didnt have great pressure. They could definitely use some updating. But overall a good stay for the price."

"It was our first time to Shores and Islands / Cedar Point and we were very pleased with our stay! Close to downtown Sandusky and in a very quiet area, we truly enjoyed our stay. The host left Tide pods to start a load of laundry of towels!"
