"This property is exactly as described! Beautiful view of the bay, nicely furnished and spotless. Everything you could possibly need is provided! We spent a lot of time on the porch facing the bay watching pelicans, fish jumping and enjoying the refreshing breeze! We met the Styrons, the owners. Delightful people, who wanted to be sure we had everything we needed! Be sure to eat dinner at Wild Will's Revenge! We had the most delicious seafood there! We will definitely be returning!"

We had a small issue with the water smelling of sulphur but Kim was very responsive and called a company to fix it immediately. She was so helpful with any questions we had. "This was our second stay at this peaceful, clean house and we have already booked another stay. It is on a quiet road with a roomy kitchen, comfortable dining area and family room. My favorite part is sitting in the adirondack chair with my feet in the Pamlico Sound drinking my morning coffee watching the pelicans fish. It is a favorite get-away home away from home that is an easy bike ride close to the fun shops and delicious seafood."

"The house is situated in the ideal spot on a peninsula. You feel like you have privacy without feeling totally isolated. The house is way cool. The view is awesome from the living room. The dock is a great bonus even if you’re just gonna watch the sunrises and sunsets. We saw dolphins swimming fairly close nearly every day. Just a tad disappointed in the fishing situation there at the house. I didn’t catch a fish at all and I tried for days. Went to North State Guide services and had a great day...

"Very beautiful and comfortable home but didn’t realize how remote it was 30 minutes from anything 😬and when the wind is blowing the internet and Wi-Fi is out 😞 the 4 days we were there it was out for 2 and we couldn’t do any work 😞 they should put on their listing how remote they are and how far they are from a beach 😞"

"The cottage was perfect for how we wanted to spend our getaway. Dinners out, fishing, beach and long walks. I could make breakfast and put together lunch for our outings. It was wonderful having our dog and meeting Noodles….the owners dog who is absolutely darling. My husband and I will keep this location in our favorite file for the future!!!"
